Addiction transfer is very common among WLS patients, and something to watch for according to the psych who did my eval.
I haven't developed any alternate addictions that I'm aware of, but I have noticed that cleaning up my food issues has made me more fanatic about cleaning in general. Seriously...my house is spotless now! (Maybe because it's a way to stay out of the kitchen?) It's quite a change from my old ways in any case.

When u get ready to eat unhealthy take a look at ur before pic, dont go back there u can do this. I am a emotional eater also, take 1 day for a pitty party cry & suck it up. U got this.

Thank you. Though I don't like the comment of being a candidate for WLS. It is much more than the physical that is necessary to be a candidate. They have to have the WANT to lose weight. The surgery doesn't make you lose weight..it is a tool that you use to help Yourself. Sorry but I feel Terry was wrong there

Come on get back on track, u have come to far to go back. Im only 9 days out & still on Protein Shakes. Try getting your protein by drinking a shakes for Breakfast, think of the beginning when u started.
Im cheering for you, you can do this.
