  1. Height 5'8 starting weight was about 250 lowest was maybe 179/180 now I'm usually a steady 195/190. Goal was 180 but I kind of felt too thin. Measurements used to be 38-35-40 now they are I think 36-34-38 kind of boxey sometimes downfall I started drinking liquor in April 2015/ def had different effects didn't wait the year. I'll stop sometime but could still finish a pint. I'm trying to cut back I know overall even without the surgery it's not good to do every other day. gas and bowel movements YUCK I've only sharted on myself once or twice and that was in the first month. But the foul smell at times I feel I still eat like before, I lol eat like 1/2 then about an hour later I'm back hungry. as I type I KNOW this is due to eating and drinking at the same time !! Which I'm realizing that more and more for a while sweets candy or cake was a absolute no, but now I'll try but nothing like before which is good. i can tolerate all foods still the same, which is great. No backfire on that end. If I eat a burger I've always removed one side of the bun just always felt the bread was too much. I've stop tracking not sure good or bad. As there is not a bariatric app I've found which would be good and I'd use but with all the other apps the calories and everything is set at USA or whatever i know you can change it but not sure what to change it to as I'm aware we track protein. Let's see, I love water always have, never really like fake juice or overly sugar. I'll sip milk sometimes never whole I stopped that even before the sugar. Orange juice and water is my either or I'll have an occasional can soda, especially because it's summer right now with cookouts etc it's around. I don't weigh myself at all in the house unless I find I can't fit something that I used to wear. I will tho whenever I go to an appointment for my kids. Husband doesn't mind the changes accept the drinking because like I said I don't know how to pace myself anymore. But as far as body physical um I had my third child august 2014 and then 6 months after had my rny so prebaby had a nice hourglass Breast not much booty vs now **** I love it tho the breast change a lot of course but the little booty that was there **** can't even put a marble on it it's like I have bottom booty but no top lol scaring blends in with my stretchmarks and so I will still rock a 2 piece (32yrs old) so I guess I still have a couple more years I'd feel okay doing that. At times I find myself like omg I haven't eaten anything and other times I feel like I'm eating everything Oh pacing myself while eating too STILL teaching myself that !! Ive recently had a physical and blood work was good but haven't seen my surgery doc since my 1st yr which I should as because I do not take any vitamins and I feel when I eat I take in good amounts of the right stuff. Meat beans veggies seafood etc Oh I've tried sushi which was new and love salmon and wasabi. On a good day I can tell when I'm full and can be very disciplined, well this has been very therapeutic for me writing realizing things hope everyone else from February 2015 is doing great and they are happy with results and no or minimum regrets

Hello all, I was never a big person on FOOD.. like i ate because i had to but I could adjust to changes, like no sweets no meats etc. When I wanted to drop weight. So far so good, I went through all my phases as told. and since March 17th my doc released me to eating from every food group. I am the main cooker in the house and I have not felt deprived at anything. I seen some are angry or upset with the limit of bites they can take.. I probably have tested my limits with what I can and can not tolerate to the max.. The only thing I really dont care to chew is hamburger in spaghetti. Yesterday I ate ham, yams rice and potato salad and cabbage. I hope that in time everyone will be happy and eating enjoyably. Oh another thing I found the adverse effect for me is that my NUT stated that if drinking out of a straw doesnt cause you pain then you can, I seem to drink more fluid be it water, juice or milk I am able to get my fluids in. **When I say juice I drink orange or the sugar free snapples, iced tea etc*

    Hardest thing I ever did.

I go in on the 17th as well, I have a husband and children too. I was told to start my liquid diet today... I am to lose 12-16 lbs it seems very impossible. I would say that you are not crazy for thinking that way and writing the letters to your family.
  13. Hey everyone, So Im so excited I got the call yesterday for the date. I got next week to visit with my surgeon to start my pre-op diet. I have read so much, I know no amount of prepping will really get me prepared but Im ready. I enjoy exercising.. I cant wait to get back to it. Have any of you took measurement before ? to compare. I used to scale everyday then switched to measurements when I didnt like the scale. Hoping I have over success and balance. Dr's office said my goal weight should be 168-170.. Im currently 250.. I already know I may lose alot of my women figure hoping I can preserve some with squats and in house exercising. My family is supporting me and ready for this just as much as I am. I have my husband and 3 children. Good luck to everyone, and keep up all your hard work.
