I really like my band... it has taken a lot of work to learn what I can and cannot eat, but all in all I am quite pleased. I have lost 27lbs and 30 1/4 inches since surgery.

I live in a little town just north of Dalton Ga and south of Chattanooga Tn called Ringgold. I was banded March 10, 2005 by Dr. Ponce. Nice to meet all of you.

One time my son and I and one of his friends were walking through Wal-Mart. I was looking for pajama bottoms when I heard my son tell his friend "Look at the boob hangers" talking about the bras.

I went out today and it only took me one resume. I start my new job on Monday. Can I just say that God is truly wonderful. Thanks for all of the support. Oh and by the way.... no ice cream today.

Leslie Neilson is what I had in mind. Yes it is official no work today unless you count beating the streets for a job. Wish me luck. By the way I do real estate loan closings and also have experience in servicing mortgage loans for Fannie Mae.....soooo if anybody has a wonderful job out there I would love to hear about it. Well ladies and gentlemen, I started the day with very good intentions and ended up in my bathtub with a bowl of ice cream. Today I went to work and promised Lisa/Delarla that I would give up junk food with her....but then I was informed that I was being let go from my job. Apparently the company I worked for has decided that it can't support my salary anymore. Just one more lovely event in this really bad couple of weeks i have had. Sorry Lisa. I'll try no more junk food again tomorrow.

Doc said yes that my esophogus was indeed inflamed. I got down some potato soup today, yipee:) Thank you all for checking in.

Since being so sick last weekend I have been on an ice cream binge... I am so in. I'll post tomorrow what my menu was for today. Lisa, I'll pm you my number feel free to call and we'll ala Jack, fight the Dragon together.

How very well put and insightful.. I am constantly waiting for tomorrow and never quite finding it. Thank you for sharing that with us.

I feel some better... called the Doc and his office said that my esophogus is probobly really inflamed from being so sick this weekend. They told me to do protien shakes today and maybe some mashed potatoes tomorrow.. if I am not better by Monday I am supposed to go back for a slight unfill. Thanks for checking on me I really appreciate it.

Thanks Guys ya'll really are the greatest... I am going to call the Doc tomorrow and see what he has to say. You have no idea what it means to me to come here and get such kind and caring responses. Again Thanks.

I got a fill last Thursday and I have either thrown up or pb'd everything i have put in my mouth since. I can do water, but anything thicker and back up it comes. I am hungry, cranky, tired and weak. So you are saying "why don't you call and schedule a slight unfill?" the reason is that since banding in March I have only lost 15 lbs. God, I am so depressed. Did I spend this money only to prove that I really don't have the will power even with the band to do this? I want so badly to see the weight start to drop off that I am almost considering staying with this fill even though I can't eat. I mean if this lasts long enough surely some weight will begin to fall off. Sorry guys..... just needed to whine a little.

She is in my prayers. I also called my Grandmother last night, she has one of the closest links to the Man Upstairs of anyone I know so Ms. Jessica is now also on her prayer list and that of her church.. God bless this poor woman and her family. Thank you for letting us know about her.

The phenergan that he gave me is in suppository... and not to be gross but it really isn't doing any good there either in the short amount of time that it stays:(

I have a stomach bug and I can't keep anything down. My pcp perscribed phenergan but that doesn't seem to be helping. I am throwing up from my toes up and I know this can't be good for my band...Any suggestions???
