  1. Omg I googled this and this totally explained how I'm feeling right now!! The fatigue and just want to fall into the bed or couch ASAP when done with anything!! I even cried watching the bachelorette last night and that's totally not me!!! Why didn't my dr tell me about this? I've been wondering if I had lost my mind and also was stuck in a land of fatigue. Thanks..I'm so glad you shared.
  2. So we made it home after a night in the ER. I am taking tomorrow off as husb is gonna have to get in with his surgeon. I'm calling it a mental health day and gonna make him stay put and reduce the hopping around so no more crazy accidents. Thank Dorian
  3. My bariatric clinic nurse told me about a juice at Walgreens that's plum and ok to drink and also would help with constipation. I've had a bit of the motts brand grape and carrot and haven't dumped but I think it's reduced sugar
  4. I see my surgeon Fri and I'm kinda scared I havent done as well. I've lost 27lb and tomorrow is my 6 week mark. I've thought I was lower avg but today for whatever reason I have just been battling some serious blues. Feel I'm not progressing as much and just so tired all the time. My husband had foot surgery Fri and fell tonight ending back in the er. I've been worn out between hustling down hallways with patients all day and 2hr commute to work. My day seems to never end soon enough between cooking dinner and all the other things I think I barely have the time or energy for it must be done. Idk..just in a funky mood.
  5. Taco meat with salsa and low fat cheese. About 3oz. Later I had 6 blueberries with 3 tsp of sugar free cool whip. Yum!!
  6. I did the program before surgery. I actually did 2 of the 5ks this last fall and it's tough but u can do it girl!! It's actually what pushed me to make my final decision of surg cause I ran for 4 months and only lost 6lbs. I'm gonna start this program again within the next few weeks so u can be my c25k buddy!!!! I got to love running and the freedom it gave me to just clear my head. Good luck and keep going!
  7. No I haven't but that was something the nurse mentioned also it could be. I'm keeping a food log also to take
  8. Tuesday will make 6 weeks for me and I'm starting to really feel great! Hubby had foot surgery and is non weight bearing for a few weeks and I'm picking up the pace more and more..this upcoming week is about as jam packed as I could ever think of making it and...I'm so tired all the time! I'm happy don't get me wrong...probably the happiest I've been in awhile..just get so dang tired!! I'm getting all my protein & fluid in religiously. I did have another episode where I thought I would faint but fortunately I didn't this time but I called my dr. Go in fri when he's back in town and until then will see my PCM if these fainting issues rear their head. So...did anyone else experience this? I'm so tired I feel like I can barely make it through my day. I'm still using my Cpap so I'm not relating this to my sleep apnea. Idk.?
  9. I hope you find some peace. I think it's normal to have apprehension when you have to make decisions about major surgery and especially when it will change your life forever. As for a failure...rny kinda forces you to lose...the success and amount is totally up to you and you have a great support group here!! Fear is normal and I know the days leading up to my surgery I was telling everyone I loved them....just in case they thought I was nuts and looking back now I laugh cause I can't believe how far I've come. You named your screen named.."I am worth it." Believe it!!! Ultimately do whatever you feel is best for YOU cause this body is what you have for the rest of your life and only YOU can decide.
