  1. Love this!!!!! I just told my friend this too!!!!
  2. I take Aspirin too and idk if I will ever have another child. I have had multiple miscarriages but didn't know at the time it was because my body clotted off the placenta. I know I can't get pregnant until at least a yr so I'm not sure what to use for bc? Are u using anything? I can't take anything hormonal and I don't want to have a para guard for a year basically. Any recommendations?
  3. So idk if This means my PCOS is about to improve with my weight loss but I have a period! It's awful!! I started a new job working for a hospice today. I fortunately had explained to them I can't do a whole lot for a few more weeks and now I'm basically orientation bound and paper pushing for awhile. During this brand new welcome to our office..and I'm there with a bunch of strangers..period from hell started. I somehow managed to be my polite self and sit in all these meetings with unknown folks while I was desperate for my fluids and trying to convince myself my uterus was NOT really trying to escape my body! On a happy not the rice packs I sewed for my hubby's back pain have came into great use this evening. Happy Monday! Hope u guys had a great one.
  4. Have u had these little episodes where u totally feel bummed out about loss of the previous things? I dealt well with the family having pizza from my fav place and tonight I keep thinking I just want to go to the little yogurt place! It's fat free not sugar free and I know I prob couldn't manage more than 2 bites!!! I have just had this yogurt on the brain!!! Maybe I'm having some per Pms symptoms? I was supposed to start the day of my surgery (18 days ago) and I have yet to start. I think the wear & stress of the surgery prob threw me off a bit. Just bummed on a Sat night while the hubby and my kiddo are having grilled burgers and I'm even ok with that!!! I don't want ice cream I just want some yogurt!!!!!
  5. @colorado chick..good luck today!!! Speedy recovery and prayers for u! It's all worth it! Thanks everyone for the encouragement!!!
  6. Good luck!!! Speedy recovery!!!! Prayers for u!!!
  7. Hi I'm new here too! I am 2wks post op today and feeling great. I can't believe how it seemed so impossible I'd be on this side when I worried about if I could or would get surgery for so long! Best wishes to u. I'm here to help anyway that I can. Good luck!
  8. I have had to force myself not to weigh daily. I tried that the 1st few days I came home and it really was getting to me. I'm mentally only able to do 1x weekly and I'm gonna try to stick to that. It's hard not to be obsessive. I would love to keep in touch with u guys! I feel like alt of positive things have just opened up and I'm finding myself with girlish like happiness as I make all these new steps. I've been reading here for a few weeks and I have to admit before surgery I was a basketcase and just reading things here helped enforce I was making the right decision.
  9. Thank u for the support and I am glad someone in the same boat!
  10. Thought I would say hello! Today is my 2week post op date and I've lost 16lb! 16 lbs was previously impossible and I'm feeling great! I knew I had lost but I've been choked up with joyful tears today about how possible it is I can do this!!
