I have been doing great, I am 8 weeks out and have lost 47 pounds but this week, NONE! What is going on?

I was10 pounds heavier and now at 7 weeks I have lost 46 pounds. Don't sweat it and stay off the scale, it's self sabatoge

I think I was well-informed but a little naive about it all. I didn't realize how different life would be. But I am happy.

I only lost like 1 pound this week and I am 5 weeks out. I have heard of many having a stall in the beginning. I think it is because I am not getting in enough fluids.

You cannot take Aleve or any NSAID anymore after surgery. The only pain reliever OTC will be Tylenol. Multivitamins come in chewable, calcium citrate comes in chewable, B12 is liquid and the Iron pills are small. If you take a prescription med that you need and the pill is large see if the doctor can get it in liquid form for you. It is a big adjustment, but I am on week 5 and down 34 pounds and it is all worth it. Good luck.

Just pick yourself up, and realize that we are all human. You will be fine. Just get back on your diet. I was allowed one meal a day and 2 shakes on my pre-op diet, but every doctor is different. You can do it. I am 4.5 weeks out and 33 pounds down. Just keep your mind on the end result.

The morning I dropped my daughter off at school when I was having surgery we both broke down crying. But, I remembered that she was my motivation for having the surgery and I trusted my surgeon with my life and I just knew that God would see me through. I was in the hospital 3 nights and the day of surgery you are really out of it and you don't want her to see you that day. My daughter only came up one time. If your parents are there, have them keep her busy, park, lunch at her favoritre restaurant or whatever. Remember, you are getting healthier for her and you so, although I know it is scary, it's just nerves. I will keep you and your daughter in my prayers. Keep us updated. Good luck! Thanks everyone. I got some immodium to help with the diarrhea and I am going to start intaking a Fiber supplement. I am hoping that time is my friend. I guess I just need to give everything time to adjust to the changes in my body.

It is hard to adjust. I am wearing size 12-14's. I hold them up and say I can't fit into those!!! Our brains just need to catch up!!
