  1. I had a bunch of gas stuck after surgery that was painful and I couldn't move it out, so my husband had me lay on my stomach while he did soft karate chops up and down my back to help me pass gas and it worked! Neither of us have ever been shy about gas though. I don't fart in public, but my husband and I try to fart on each other all the time cuz it's funny. Only difference is mine rarely smelled before surgery and now it's like something died and it lingers... we have to use air freshener because the smell won't leave lol
  2. For two weeks after my surgery, my gas smelled like the hospital lol
  3. Did she disable her profile?
  4. I love the caramel coffee one. I have never had such a good tasting shake.
  5. I seem to have less of a tolerance but not bad towards whisky. Sake on the other hand knocked me on my butt.
  6. Skinny margaritas don't have as much sugar. I usually have a whisky sour. I have had no issues with drinks that have natural fruit juices in them either. I'm two months out. I'm 25 and I like to go out once or twice a week and don't think it should be a problem.
  7. Mine was covered initially, but then I went back to work after only one week. The following week I was miserable and thought I should not have gone back so soon but the denied my claim and would not allow me any more time off....
  8. I had the band and had a lot of slider foods, but that's because I threw everything else up. I am 8 weeks out from my revision. Nothing makes me sick. I have eaten just about anything except desserts because I don't like sweets to begin with. My bad foods are pizza and chips which I have had a few times since surgery. With the band I could wash down a family sized bag of chips, but with rny I just have a small handful. I have still lost 30 lbs though at this point.
  9. How much have you lost and when was your surgery date?
  10. Oh ok. I've been getting heat rash on my thighs and tummy...
  11. My face looks horrible. I had bad acne as a teen and have still had the occasional break out now at 25 but sine the surgery, my acne is much worse than it ever was as a teen.. I'm so embarrassed.
  12. Is it more like blisters than pimples? Could be herpes....
  13. I'm 8 weeks out and have had no problem with sushi, but I get the rolls that have soy paper instead of seaweed because the seaweed is so chewy.
  14. I'm about 8 weeks out and I also live just north of humble..
  15. I'm band to bypass and the only stuck feeling I got aS with swallowing pills. Are you chewing well enough, or is the food too dry?
  16. So last week I gained 3lbs when working out and watching what I ate. This weekend I did not make good food choices and laid around the house and lost 4 lbs putting me at my lowest of 231. I don't understand...
  17. I have. I know I shouldn't. I need to come to terms with it. I could only eat chips when I had the lap band and protein shakes. I lived on them for so long and have not been able to give them up...
  18. I ate pizza a few times and got really bad hypoglycemia or dumping... they have the same symptoms. I have very slow weightloss and I'm sure it's due to cheating. This week though I have really stuck to my diet and gained 3lbs.
  19. I've had a few carby things here and there and I have reactive hypoglycemia. Not sure if I am dumping or just still suffering from the hypoglycemia.
  20. I mixed some water with crystal light lemonade and added red stag black cherry whisky.... fantastic!
  21. I have a cook book for bariatric patients and it says if you reheat the protein to eat it with a dressing or sauce so that it will moisten it up and will go down fine.
  22. So I just had day two of bootcamp and I've gained 3lbs.... what's going on?
