  1. Wow you are doing great. I'm almost two months post op and have only lost 28lbs. What are you eating? Or how many calories do you get per day?
  2. I met the devil this morning. It is a fit blonde girl that runs boot camp.... I hurt...
  3. I have also only lost 28 lbs in almost two months. I'm joining a fitness bootcamp Monday. Hopefully it will kickstart faster weightloss.
  4. There are crackers called nut thins. They are made from different nuts. There is a place here called my fit foods and they have a meal with 6 nut thins and egg salad. I love it!
  5. My doc said I can swallow any pills about the size of a tictac and crush or cut anything else. I tried cutting a women's one a day to take for a multivitamin last week (six weeks out) and threw up violently for several hours because it got stuck. I have had no issue taking my Prozac though which is a capsule a little larger than a tictac.
  6. Yeah. I am wondering if mine has to do with the depo shot. Next month I'm going to try to get mirena
  7. I'm almost 7 weeks out and have only lost 3 pounds since week four. I'm down 26 lbs total. I had a follow up Wednesday and they said I should have lost at least 10 more than I have. I did not like that news... very discouraging.
  8. Lol. I'm in the same boat. I haven't worn my ring for a few years. I know I need to just hit 200lbs for it to fit...
  9. I have had whisky sours and skinny margaritas (less sugar). I also tried warm sake but that got me buzzed very quick. I don't think I'll be doing that again.
  10. If mine are still a d after weightloss I will likely get a reduction and lift that way insurance will pay for it. If you have back pain and are willing to get a reduction with your lift your insurance may pay for it also.
  11. I also always saw myself as not being as big as I am. I always thought I looked better till I saw myself in a reflection. I was mortified when I took my pre op pics. At my pre op appointment though there was a lady that definitely looked bigger than me. She just openly asked how much weight did I need to lose. I said about 100lbs. She didn't believe me. She asked me to stand so she could see. I was embarrassed but did it anyway. I told her I weighed 260lbs. She was in complete disbelief. That made me feel good. I feel I have been well built for my weight because I am thick but don't have any rolls. I'm worried about what I will look like thin because I have 42ddd boobs and no butt.
  12. I see everyone talking about wanting to keep their boobs. I definitely want mine to shrink but I'm worried they will look like pancakes. I am a 42DDD right now...
  13. I have not been good about taking my vitamins recently because I hate the taste of the chewable tablets. I bought the women's one a day to try to take instead... it's too big, so I cut it in half, but then the taste of it cut made me throw it back up. What multivitamin are you guys using? I would prefer one I can just swallow.
  14. It's not that fun being the only sober one. I don't want be drunk, just have a lil buzz when I go out to liven me up. If I don't drink, I'm unamused with everyone's drunk talk and I get really sleepy early and just want to go home...
  15. I was always a casual smoker. Normally just when I go out. If I don't go out I don't smoke. My doc did not tell me I had to quit since I'm not a regular smoker. I still have one or two a week if I go out with my friends but that's it.
  16. You don't want this.... I promise. Every few hours I spend 30 min to an hour on the toilet... usually right when I wake up it starts... sometimes it wakes me up at night.
  17. My husband is also a corrections officer so I know how that goes. I'm not getting sick other than I have the runs all the time sorry tmi. No matter what I eat it goes right through me. I'm down 25lbs now. Just got past a stall. I'm just so unmotivated and don't know how to move past it...
  18. I am young as well. I started drinking again a week ago... 4 weeks out. Everyone said it would effect you differently but not for me. I can't seem to get anymore than a slight buzz. I can't drink fast enough to feel it. I'm fine with that though. I used to drink 7double whisky and cokes plus a few shots when I would go out... three times a week. So far, I have gone out twice and had just two single whisky sours. My doc recommends to never have alcohol because of cross addiction and empty calories, but I don't think it will be a problem for me.
  19. Yeah... I'm trying everything. I have never broken out so bad in my life! And it's not going away....
  20. I saw some of yall posted about being unmotivated... I'm having the same issue. I don't want to do anything, cook, clean, shop, shower, work. I work from home and I find I'm just not working. My boss has noticed and said I may need to talk to the short term disability people if this is a medical thing. I don't want to do that, but I don't know what's going on. I'm already on Prozac from before the surgery...
  21. I ladies. I'm about five weeks post op. I have been on the depo for five years. I had bad acne before the depo. I am 24 and now after the surgery I am breaking out like I'm 14. Its really bad. I have lost about 23lbs. I am getting cramps and spotting also. Do you think my depo is not working? Should I switch birth controls?
  22. My survey date was 4/8 so I weighed this morning and am down 23lbs. I'm now 237. I am band to bypass and the lowest I got with the band was 214. I feel I won't be super happy till I'm below that...
