  1. The thing is I have the lap band and have done a liquid diet on my own many times to try to kick start weight loss. Also my doctor did not put name on the liquid diet for pre op but I an doing it on my own to ease my nerves about surgery. I have never struggled with it like this before.
  2. Ok. So right now I am just sitting in the truck in the pizza buffet parking lot trying not to go and buy pizza. I am stressed because of work and my husband and my mom. Everything is making me lose my mind right now. Normally I eat pizza as a comfort food. I would normally eat pizza 4 times per week (delivery) . I am three days into my pre op liquid diet. Today I left work on time due to being stressed out and chewed out my mom on the phone. All I want is pizza and I am mad at myself for that too. All I can do right now is sit in the parking lot and cry. Is anyone else struggling?
  3. I think my husband is supportive because he knows food is an addiction. He has been trying to quit smoking for a year now and it has been a struggle. So I feel he understands. He also knows this surgery will not be easy because I will have to give up all my favorite foods. He is 6´1" 165lbs and can eat anything and everything he wants. He said he would rather die than go on a diet and give up taco bell so he thinks I am strong to be doing this and to be three days into my all liquid pre op diet without cheating.
  4. How are you doing weight loss wise so far?
  5. Mine is Monday to but I am having mine in spring Texas.
  6. I am two years out and still can't feel my left leg from the lap band. My feeling did not come back and it is very aggravating when I get the pins and needles or a dead leg feeling.

  12. I lost the feeling in my left leg after lap band surgery. I have the rny scheduled in one week and hope I don't lose feeling in another limb.

  14. Me too. The lap band did not. I felt starved for two years till they loosened it and I gained weight back but felt full. So far the other band to bypassers say it's nothing like the band so I pray my hunger disappears in one week!
  15. I have not looked at clothes at all. I havecthe lap band and it failed. I guess I worry the rny will fail too so I am in a see it to believe it mode.
  16. Core workouts will give you muscle but my nut told me the only way to burn belly fat is cardio.
  17. I know. I drove by Mc donalds and the three cars in front of me turned in... I wanted to go too, but I do feel I need to do the liquid diet..
  18. Good luck ladies! Hope to hear from you soon!
  19. I don't have to do a liquid diet but decided to since I did one for my lap band. I am doing a week long liquid diet. I am halfway through day one and I feel like I am starving to death... hopefully it won't be so bad after surgery but I am also doing this to prove my commitment to myself. This sucks. ..
  20. I had gotten allergies a few weeks ago that turned into a cold that seemed to get better for a few days then suddenly got worse and turned into an upper respiratory infection. On antibiotics now. Hope I am all cleared up soon or they will not do surgery...
