Nerve damage

I have been having a terrible burning to the left of my belly button. It got really bad today (6days out). My doctor has put neurontin. Just wanted to know if anyone else has also experienced any nerve damage after surgery.

I lost the feeling in my left leg after lap band surgery. I have the rny scheduled in one week and hope I don't lose feeling in another limb.

Yikes, good luck with your rny. I am 6 days post op and still struggling. I hope all goes well for you

My thighs were numb after surgery for about 6 wks. that is from the grounding of the cautery machine. The feeling does come back in due time.

I had that same burning feeling. My surgeon said it was normal. That's where most of the work was done. It does go away with time.

I am two years out and still can't feel my left leg from the lap band. My feeling did not come back and it is very aggravating when I get the pins and needles or a dead leg feeling.

How long did it take to go away?

Feel better soon. I never experience this
