I'm not a rule follower and thank the heavens above that after 4 weeks my nut said i can try anything in moderation. Just to make sure i get my protein in and try to keep it low carb. If you give me a set of rules...i'll break them! Which is why diets ALWAYS failed me.

Oh yeah..three bites of kfc boneless.promptly got sick.

I ate pizza a few times and got really bad hypoglycemia or dumping... they have the same symptoms. I have very slow weightloss and I'm sure it's due to cheating. This week though I have really stuck to my diet and gained 3lbs.

Well I'm on the solids now and. what a learning process. Just got all protein in 4oz of meat. this feeling is better than anything.

I'm 4 months post op I have tryed pizza but only ate the top part I love KFC chicken and mashed potato I'm now down to 166 lbs my goal weight is 150 lbs everybody is different on what you eat if I cheat I just try a small portion of it I don't gain weight

I am 5 1/2 months out and have had pizza multiple times (just one piece) and I have had taco bell multiple times. I haven't tried any sweets or sugar but eat pretty normal just in moderation. I make sure to stay at 1000 calories and 60-80 grams of Protein. I have lost 95 pounds as of this morning :-)

My doc said if you restrict everything for the rest of your life you will lose your mind. Eat things in moderation.

I have lost 117lbs and eat what ever I want.

I eat 4-6 oz. of whatever i want for my main meal. I snack on cheese sticks and crackers or whatevers in the house during the day. I'm going to start drinking my protein shake at night to help with hunger. I'm a night owl and find that i really get the munchies after 12 am. I'm a very slow loser also and I know it's because of food choices. I'm too set in my ways to start chewing on a celery stick. Totally not my thing..LOL I'm OK with losing slow as long as i lose something. It's not a marathon race for me anymore. I increased my calorie intake to 875. In a few weeks i'm hoping to get to 1000. My surgery date was April 22 and lost 22.5 lbs....50 something more to go till i hit my goal weight.

I'm keeping it real. When I say I eat healthy I actually try. I'm able to eat what I want in moderation but I chose not to eat whatever I want.

I do eat rice but I'm cutting down. I say I don't eat bread but I eat tomato mazerella from Starbucks that's bread a different kind but its bread. So that I try to avoid it yes. Soda I crave it during my period but after its over I don't want it & if I have it I vomit. I had occasional pizza & fiesta steak salad from Taco Bell,

Great response from everyone! See i too eat tacobell but only the inside like beef, lettuce, cheese.. nd sometimes ill have a pintos nd cheese which is just refried brans red sauce nd cheese lol. Haven't eaten bread or rice but love the baked sour cream nd chive potato from wendys. Other then that i had a sip of soda once in almost 5 months

I have eaten everything I've wanted... Tried a lot of new healthy foods I never thought I would try. But time to time I've had me a "bad" food. I live in SA texas. We got some kick a$$ Mexican food :-) but with every thing it's in moderation. A few times I've gotten the chip bug in me. But in over a year I have lost 145 pounds. And just the last month I joined a gym. Before that the only working out I did was walking.

My nut Dr.,and shrink pretty much concur on this one.while I'm too early to eat much contraband, they all agree it's not realistic to deny yourself everything for the rest of your life. I don't think it's realistic either, but like everyone has said...moderation.
