  1. 2 oz of baked pork chop with a bite of broccoli! Fixing hamburger helper for the fam and it looks soo yummy but I'm a good girl and won't be eating that!
  2. I hope you feel better soon! I had to sleep on the sofa for the first month post op... I had a heating pad and all! It hurt so bad to lay on the bed, even laying on my back hurt but the sofa was just right! I would highly suggest that if none of the things we all suggested work call your dr and get some pain meds! There is no sense of just dealing with the pain when you are trying to heal!
  3. I'm 3 1/2 months post op and about a 3 weeks ago my hair starting the "fall out" phase... My hair was extremely thick like enough for 3 heads of hair!!!! Since this started I get literally handfuls of hair at a time. After I wash it, it looks like a small animal in the drain.... My hair is still thick, although its only about half as thick as it was. I have cried over this because I'm worried I will go bald! My dr. Told me to take zinc and sprinkle unflavored gelatin in my meals, it hasn't really helped. I'm getting plenty of protein and water and taking my vitamins. They said it should stop in 3-4 months..... Good thing I had soo much hair to start with!!!
  4. I go out a lot, I always take a few bottles of water with me and I have a container that u hold powder baby formula in. It has 6 slots for servings of powder baby formula and I just fill it with my powder protein. Then if I need my protein I just pour the protein in the water and shake it up !
  5. Yes it did stall my weightloss some, I was like 2 months out and only eating an ounce of food and the scale wouldn't move.... I had to slowly increase to 2 oz and the weight started falling off again. Now I'm lucky if I can eat 2 1/2 oz and I'm stalling again. I have tried to increase my amount to 3 oz but I just can't eat that much! Plus I don't get hungry ever so I just eat my 3 meals a day like my dr said and I still feel like its a chore!
  6. I'm 3 1/2 months post op and my nut says I should be able to eat 4 oz by now but I just got to where I can eat 2 1/2 oz...,,, she said just eat what I can and if I start wanting more to eat it! Some people just can't ever eat as much as others, but its totally normal. No two people are the same!
  7. Laugh if you want but in the beginning when I lost a lot of weight I didn't have money for new bras so I rolled up a pair of socks and stuffed it!!! Later on I bought some on eBay real cheap

Speaking of saggy skin.... I was laying next to hubby the other day and I just had on bra and panties... Well my bra is getting too big ( again) and the way I was laying my boob had "extra" skin that was just kinda wrinkly and he looked down and said eww... That looks just like a ball sack! I laughed and said joke all you want cuz next summer they will be big and perky again and you have to pay for it !!!!
  14. @Graceanne, depends on ur dr. Some have but I hd to wait till I was on soft food stage to be able to have egg drop soup
  15. Annette, fluid and protein are a must when it comes to loosing the weight! Try try try to get in at least 64oz of liquids a day( can include jello, pudding, soup etc.) and make sure you are getting at least 80g protein. If you are not exercising you need to start walking at a brisk pace to get your heart rate up 30 minutes daily! If you are exercising try to increase your minutes and speed... I also strength train every other day and we al know muscle weighs more than fat so it may look like your not loosing when indeed you are trading fat for muscle. If you had less to loose like under 100lbs. It WILL take you longer to loose than someone who has like 150 or more to loose. Just don't get discouraged and keep doing what the dr tells you to do! It WILL come off!!!
