  1. Go into work one day with a rope around your waist and ask if she would grab the other end and protect you from the wind...
  2. Bev I am the exact same way you are. Surgery date 3/5/13 and have not been able to drink Protein shakes, can't eat anything and now have had diarrhea and vomiting for the past 4 days. Went to the ER a couple of weeks ago and ready to go again tomorrow. It's so frustrating and discouraging I cry all the time.
  3. I was the same way. All i could do was wake up to take pain meds. Didn't eat drink or do anything for weeks. The pain finally went away about a month and 4 bottles of pain meds later.
  4. My doctor usually does not use but i was in so much pain his PA gave it to me. I was so happy they did. It really worked wonders. I just used until it got uncomfortable.
  5. So happy you found your prince and finally in a happy loving safe relationship!
  6. Drucella, I'm almost 4weeks out and feel the same way. I'm in so much pain, so nauseated and can't even think about putting anything in my body but water. Today I tried to eat twice and threw up both times. I'm definitely in the buyers remorse phase and can't seem to get out of it. I have lost 35 pounds but I have to wonder at what expense to my body and health since protein has been impossible to get in me. Sorry just had to vent-- hoping it will get better each day. Hoping you feel better too! Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk / surgery date March 5, 2013
  7. Still after more than 3 weeks I am having the same excruciating pain in one of my incisions. The same spot I complained about in the hospital and no one seemed concerned. I was in the ER this past weekend for dehydration and pain. They took xrays and found nothing wrong...how can it be that every other incision, including the biggest one is almost healed and this one is still causing so much pain it's unbearable to functions. I'm on my 4th bottle of pain meds.
  8. I have never eaten a chicken or turkey burger...do they have the same texture as beef? And here is the big question, do you really like them or just put up with them us thy are healthier? Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk / surgery date March 5, 2013

  16. I love your post! Congrats on you successful weight loss and so happy your life has gotten easier! My surgery date was March 5,13 and have to say I have been on so much pain in my incisions I lost track of my goals to a healthier life. Your post was a wonderful reminder. Btw--so far loving the feeling of my double chin getting smaller. It's noticeable when I lay down with my IPad and type. God bless! Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk / surgery date March 5, 2013
