  10. I'm a week after surgery and still in so much pain I think about regrets all day. Add the not being able to eat and diarrhea every day and it sure does not help. I'm trying so hard to think ahead and mentally get back to the excitement of a new life. Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk / surgery date March 5, 2013
  11. Nairali-I'm a week out and feel the same way. Although I have to admit I have yet to be able to do what I am supposed to do. Today is the first day that I have not had diarrhea. I can't drink anything but Water so have not been able to get any protein in. Today I got some egg drop Soup because it was the only thing I could even think about eating/drinking. Thankfully the water and soup stayed with me today so same diet tomorrow I guess. At least I'm getting some protein. I think you will be fine once your body really heals. Keep doing what you are supposed to do with the protein I'm sure you will feel better. Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk / surgery date March 5, 2013
  12. Mine too and that is where i hurt so bad! Has to be a muscle because it feels like I'm being ripped open whenever i sit or lay down. Hopefully the indent will go away and our whole stomach will look like a "6-pack" in a few months!!
  13. No I'm sure its not. It's one of the openings that has bothered me since day one. Looks ok like not infected but killer whenever i move. Waaaaahhh lol
  14. Takes a real man to admit that Steeevo!! God bless you during your surgery. I'm hoping it will be worth it lol.
  15. 3 days post op and still in so much pain. Can't tell if I'm being a wuss since i see all of these other people on here saying they are just fine at this point. But I'm almost in tears every time I get up to go to the bathroom. Not sure what to do. The nurses in the hospital just blew me off as i felt like a stitch was being ripped out everytime i moved. Ugh!
  16. Hi all, march 5th surgery day and have to say I'm miserable. I have so much pain I don't know what to do. I'm getting better at getting up and walking around but an hour before its time for my meds I'm in tears. I never thought of myself as a wuss but then again have never had surgery. They changed my meds from Diluted--im probably spelling that wrong to codine and its not working and where as good. Ugh!
  17. Been waiting in pre op for about 3 hours now waiting for the operating room to be free. Met with anesthesiologist and doctor already. I'm hungry and thirsty trying not to think about my mother and daughter in the cafeteria eating a steak and cheese and fries! Lol
  18. Thank you so much loveme! The prayer brought tears to my eyes. Sent from my iPad using RNYTalk / surgery date March 5, 2013
