  1. Do you use some kind of marinade?
  2. That actually sounds really good with the salsa...the flavor sounds amazing.
  3. I agree go to the doctor and get your back checked out or the underlining issue. I had this a couple of weeks ago and went straight to an acupuncturist. After 2 sessions it was gone. Just a suggestion...
  4. I saw a weight loss specialist/therapist. We have made arrangements for us to meet afterwards as well. I would call your docs office and see if they can recommend someone.
  5. I too am going to start therapy with a weight loss therapist. She wanted to see me after the first week of the pre-op liquid phase, which i think is great because I am sure I will need extra encouragement. I don't know why more people don't do this...I believe it can really help and change your life/eating habits by getting to the root of the problem.
  6. GREAT tip! I will surely ask during my next visit!!
  7. Thanks for keeping our list Kathy!
  8. Hi all-I have my surgery March 5th so time is getting near! So excited, scared and relieved about this whole long process!
  9. I spent 9 1/2 months nauseated and vomiting when I was pregnant, so this can not be any worse than that! Of course my surgery isn't until March 5...so I will have to get back to you about regrets. Good luck everyone, I pray you will feel better and be able on eat soon!
  10. Thank you all. Just trying to figure out if I need family around to help me...I have a 17 year old daughter but don't want to put all of the burden on her =}
  11. I know it is different for everyone but just wanted to get an idea about getting back to normal...so to speak.
  12. Thanks Anna! Good advice, my surgery is on March 5, so making a list of things I will need afterwards!
  13. Good luck to you BTB. I have been doing the same thing...eating at my favorite places and foods etc. my surgery is March 5th so I won't start the liquid item for a couple of weeks yet. That scars me more than not eating much afterwards!
  14. All regarding the Nioxin shampoo/conditioner, I have Alopecia (a hair loss disease) and have been told over and over to try the Nioxin however it makes your hair fall out before you get better...just saying from experience you may want to try getting your protein and biotin in...
