Was worried about my weigh in today since I still have bronchitis and haven't been to the gym in 3 wks but.......I lost 4 pounds, yay!! I'm so happy......61 pounds in 11 weeks, I will take it :-) have a good day everyone!!

So, I completed my first 5K since surgery last May. Did it in 44:31 only ran about a third of it and walked the rest. This time last year I never imagined myself doing this. It was amazing. I actually felt like crying afterwards, but being the big badass I think I am....i held it back. So here are a few pics of before the surgery and on 5K day! And lucky me the beautiful girl next to me is my soon to be wife on April 14th!

Thanks lady! I am going to try to do it but not going to feel like a failure if I don't. I am going to try to get as close as possible! ????

I had my surgery on January 16th, and since January 3rd, I've lost 55 lbs. WOOT!

Whew, I made it through my first week back to work...now that's an NSV as far as I'm concerned. By 1pm on Wednesday I wasn't sure I'd make it and was trying to decide if anyone would notice if I curled up the bench in my cubicle and tapped out for a bit, lol....but I persevered with the help of a friend texting me and reminding me to sip, walk, and sip some more-even when she got the flu and could barely eat or drink herself. I love the friends we make here! Encouragement is such a great thing. I also did well with my Protein and food intake by being well prepared and following some other suggestions from fellow "losers". Didn't see a big loss but I'll take my -1/2lb and be happy with it cause my attitude was much improved as well as how I felt in general.
Thanks everyone for helping me make it through this week with a smile and a grateful heart. (My boss and co-workers thank you too, lol!) Have a wonderful, active, and healthy weekend!

Sx date 1/14, worked yesturday & went to bed at 7!!! What the heck is that?!?

The first 4 days after surgery I was tired and just blah. Since then I've had great energy! Like never before!!

I lost most of my weight in the first three weeks then a two week stall and a couple lbs then another stall aground week 7 and again at 9 it seems every couple weeks I stall out and have to push a little harder. It will come you body just has to keep adjusting itself I think

Do any of you ladies get extremely cold?? It seems like I'm freezing ALL the time!!

Hi...well it'll be 30 days post op for me tomorrow and so far I've lost 35 pounds!

Congrats on your progress , I had my surgery 1-21-13 at 368 lb and now I'm 340 lbs
