Good luck everyone who is going in today.
Two more days for me and I am starting to feel calmer about it. Karma I know that feeling well I have 2 children at home as well and I have done a ton of back and forth on what I should do. i do know that right now I am not the best mom that I want to be because I can’t do hardly anything that they enjoy doing. Taking them any were fun is a chore and I spend most the time sweating and hoping it will be over soon. I look forward to when we can go for a hike or walk and they get tired first or taking them to the amusement park without being so embarrassed that I can fit on the ride or that I can’t walk the whole park. Not to mention the Water rides every year I buy a bathing suit just to cover it up with a tee shirt and capris. It is our turn now to do all the things that our weight has told us we can’t do. Sorry weight you will not hold me down anymore ! This girl has S$ I deserve to do !

Same here the real pain is coming from the stupid gas the pump you up with lol just got back in bed from my third trip around the "block" lol keep pushing forward...

Good morning everyone. I was just checking in to let everyone know Im at the hospital waiting to get called back to start prep for my surgery...Good luck to all that share this day and b4 you know it we will be post op...Will check in later to give an update.

I am one day post op and doing great. Mild pain. Just sore. Nothing unbearable. I have been up walking today. And feel great!!!!

Yes I need to get more excited less worried. I feel tired from worrying. no more letters they r really stressing me out. I can't wait to say I am on the other side

This morning I finally had a "movement." Nothing spectacular but my first since operation. Then I walked pretty leisurely for about a mile. That was pushing it a bit too far. Then weighed for another 2 pound loss. Later today Im going to start going through clothes. I need to get rid of a lot of old clothes and clothes that are one too big maybe.

I had a great idea for anyone that is preop. I hate wearing a hospital gown so I took my pjs with me pants and underwear. Then I took a tank top and cut the shoulders and addes velcro. Then I could just step into it without worry of my ivs. The nurses thought this was great and no hospital gown. Ya.

Yes, they certainly are scary! Never was a fan of them. Maybe this year I'll be more comfy depending on my loss. A dress for a wedding! That should be fun finding something fresh to wear. I think we're all going to do great!

My doc said it was ok to take my allergy med but not sure about sinus as long add they don't have blood thinners I think it would be ok I am worried I am getting sick add well just want all to go well. good luck

Just had my first walk! Little dizzy at first, but then I was motouring fast!

In in the same boat November 16 th is my date. I made a turkey this week so that I could have some before I went out and much to my suprise I did not eat much if it. I am so sick of food making me feel bad my turn take over and I am looking forward to looking at that turkey and walking way I am going to say ha you will not make me gain this year ! You can do it !
