Space yay!!

I didn't go out of my way to tell everyone I know - but I didn't hesitate to tell friends and family and anyone else who expressed an interest. I'm proud of the decision and proud of the result. I was fortunate that without exception, everyone was quite supportive. But to be honest, that may have been because they knew or sensed that opposition would not have changed my mind. I did the research and knew exactly what to expect, what the risks were, and that the odds were overwhelmingly in my favor of having a successful surgery and long term success. I gotta say it - I love the new me!! LOL!

I hear you. I'm mortified I look like this. My husband and BF know. That's it. Not even telling my mom. Maybe after but other than that no one. Work will be hard but I'm new there so I'll explain it as watching what I eat and d exercising. It's the truth. Welcome aboard. This is a great place. We are all in this together. :-).

Did great today:) everyone had the sweetest things to say. Of course people had questions... But I sipped my crystal light and made sure I ate something every 3 ish hours. I feel good.
Looking forward to a walk with the hubby later <3

Thank you everyone. I seriously feel like I have done nothing but defend my self with my option for weight loss surgery. And this is my safe place, to talk freely about it since I do not talk about it with anyone. And that comment put me in a bad mood all day. And he knows nothing about the surgery. Hes only attended a seminar. Hes negative in several posts. Hello Admin! We do not need negative energy in our peaceful place.

This is probably the only time it's cool to be fat...when we want weight loss surgery! Lol

Thank you guys! This was based off my very first weigh in. I am 235 bmi of 39.1. . I need to be 140 for the insurance to approve. My next appointment is on Wednesday and she said on the phone to drink a ton of Water and eat lots of salty stuff so my body retains water weight. And i also bought ankle weights.
But i have an amazing group of doctors who have a great reputation for fighting for their patients! But i will be wearing tons of clothes and thinking extra fat thoughts!!! : )

I'm 20 and had my surgey may the 14th 2012. So far I have lost 35 pounds which is a third of what I need to loose. It is hard work but sooo worth it

I'm 26 and I have my surgery on July 25th! So excited!

you working to be tiny but i think you can do it good luck on your degree and all your goals
