  1. I'm so sorry you are having a difficult time. Support and prayers for you. Just take it day by day and you really need to consider putting the scale away. But, been there done that I think I put mine away at 6 months. I was obsessed and would kill mojo if my# didn't drop. It's a roller coaster for sure. I can relate, I don't dump I can eat. I feel hungry all of the time and have zero time for the gym. But keep in mind we have a tool not an easy way out. DVD workout work great. But cleaning and keeping a child busy is a WORKOUT! you are always burning calories just maximize it! Sounds dumb but I do this: Park far Take the stairs Hold my daughter whenever possible (she's 3.. 30 lbs!) she loves the extra attention When shopping go around a many times I walk target and the mall I look lost but whatever LOL I walk on my lunch breaks At home I have the big ball in my living room so I don't sit on the couch I do squats in the shower Find what works for you! Sending you hugs!! Surgery date 7/25/12

  4. Gagirl!!! Big hugs..... Well I also lost my best friend 5 years ago and I still miss her terribly. As more time passes I pray for the chance to bump into her and try again, but it hasn't happened. I think of her all of the time and miss our friendship. My life has needless to say completely changed, and I wish I had her by my side to share the journey. BUT I believe people are in your life for a time. I have since made some great new friendships and good bonds but... Que sera sera! I wish her all the best in life and keep strong on my path. It's hard I know.... Especially in the things you share. Insides jokes, fav foods, and family. But work in you girl. I'm so sorry for your loss, and all of us like her who have lost a great friend. Surgery date 7/25/12
  5. Yes!!! sleep, listen to body. It's been through a lot! I would be DRAINED after a shower... Out of breath and exhausted! But it slowly comes back. Sleep, sip, and walk. Happy recovery! Surgery date 7/25/12
  6. I make my daughter laugh when I tell her my tummy loves to sing. I drink or eat something hot and the singing starts. It's loud for others to hear.... Lol Surgery date 7/25/12

  10. Went to a theme park yesterday, and got on my first roller coaster in more than 10 years (12 years to be exact!) fear of being told I didn't fit kept me off every ride for that long. After the whole day my hubby was like just get on one already. I went alone! In fear of humiliation! And this ride was CRAZY!!! lol and my hubby recorded it! LOL I couldn't believe I fit! I couldn't believe I loved it! Me and hubby are planning a date night back so we can get on more.... Together:) Surgery date 7/25/12
  11. I'm 9 months post and find myself staring at the scale daily praying the number will move!!! I seem to stuck too. It's depressing! Thanks the words ladies! Surgery date 7/25/12
  12. I drink coffee daily or a tall skinny caramel macchiato no caramel on top hot couple times a week. I have no problems and am allowed by dr but must drink an extra 8oz of Water for every up of coffee. Sounds good enough to me:) Plus is I get the Protein from the milk and no sugar just enough kick for my long days. Surgery date 7/25/12
  13. I never let myself think of the possibility of dying. I just blocked that out. I was devastated that I would not see my daughter for 3 days. Just thinking she would not understand why mommy wasn't there broke my heart I mean to the core! (Fellow mommy's understand). My hospital was a absolutely no kids zone and my hospital was an hour away. The morning I left her sleeping and went off tearfully. That night I was up walking and feeling good (still connected to pain killer pump) we skyped and she laughed and talked and was in routine. We skyped everyday until I was home. My baby is 3 and we got through it. My parents where so my hubby could be with me, and they kept her routine. It's hard a mother to put yourself first. Just get in the mindset of its only 3 days (hopefully no complications) and she won't even remember a year from now:) best of luck mama! Surgery date 7/25/12

  16. Say you don't have it because of him. Will you be happy and healthy? If your answer is no the rethink the relationship. You should be happy with YOUR decision and your health. He's probably insecure, but don't let him change your mind, heart, and break your spirit. He will still be apart of your life because of your daughter, but if he leaves its HIS fault. He will get to see drop and will see how healthy and happy you are. Sending you lots of positive vibes. Choose happy and healthy! Surgery date 7/25/12
  17. Great investment! I love mine! I bought one from Target on clearance after surgery.... Mine has a zipper. My gym buddy has a Velcro one and I laugh because you can hear it when she does it too tight... It wants to pop! So I love my zipper one! Great for the extra sweat and holding you together Surgery date 7/25/12
  18. Yup it's normal. I find it funny when I eat or drink something hot, my stomach is LOUD! Lol Surgery date 7/25/12
  19. I haven't found that the rumbling ever stops. At least for me that is. It still rumbles, and loud might I add! I always think I'm hungry so I eat like a cheese stick cottage cheese or piece of fruit. I never know when I'm full I don't get that full feeling often. It's rare and it's more when I over do it. And by that I mean like on bite to many!!! sudden discomfort followed by FULL for at least 1-2 hours. .::SurgeryDate 7/25/12::.
