  1. If pain meds aren't working, I would call the Dr. He or she should be able to prescribe u something that works.
  2. Glad to hear it! Congrats on breaking through:)
  3. Unbelievable! That is such an amazing loss. Keep it up!
  4. Wow, everyone looks so great! Keep it up!
  5. Congratulations! You look fabulous!
  6. Personally, I think u look great! But I have heard about some 5 day pouch test that is supposed to work well. You should be able to Google it. Otherwise, my last resort is going to be going back to liquids for a week and start over. How are your eating habits? Exercise? How close are u to your goal weight? Good luck and try not to get too frustrated! Think of how far you have come!
  7. One of the main reasons I had this surgery is because it is supposed to get rid of reflux. Doc said I will be off dexilant (for reflux - proton pump inhibitor) within 2 months and that I shouldnt have to ever take acid reducers. As for your problem, I had the same problem. Doc said I had an irritated stomach and to stop my supplements for 2 days and take my reflux meds (u could try the.prilosec its otc) and go back to clear liquids. After 2 days resume supplements and diet. It worked like a charm. Good luck, I hope you feel better.
  8. Crunch o's are filled with protein. Have the crunch but melt in your mouth. I got them at my Dr office, but you can Google them too.
  9. Not sure what u mean but I had my surgery on a Tuesday, so the next Tuesday I was one week post op. Does that answer your question?
  10. You don't look like you are still really overweight. Congrats on your weight loss!
  11. I have been taking whole pills since the day I got home per my docs instructions. Just take them one at a time. However the vitamins have to be chewables.
  12. SW 7/24/12: 262 Today: 230 Total loss so far 32 pounds! That is a pound a day. Woohoo!
  13. Congrats on your loss! You look great! Can't wait till I feel good enough to post picks!
  14. Don't try to tough it out! Use the meds. It is much better than a stay at the hospital! Maybe after a few days u can try again with no meds...
  15. Congrats on the loss!
  16. I live in san Antonio. Too bad it is a four hour drive:( I need more motivation when it comes to exercise. I am one monrh post op tomorrow, but I just can't seem to get my energy level up.
  17. I can't eat the whole bag. I like the bbq best. I eat them if I am craving something crunchy or sometimes pills get stuck in my throat so I use them to get the pill down. I am not sure why I have that problem, but I have actually caused erosion in my esophagus from the pill disolving in my esophagus. Very painful! TMI I know, sorry. But the crunch os are a good replacement for chips as well:)
  18. U look amazing! U surely don't look like u have more weight to lose! Wow, congrats!
  19. My doctors office sells these. Full of protein and they melt in your mouth, so u don't have to wait until you are on full foods. They are available in bbq and sour cream and onion and each have 12 grams of protein. Only about $1.50 a bag.
  20. Diet Pepsi. I love dt Pepsi:(
