Very Rumbly Tummy

Hi guys. I'm 8 days post op and my stomach is going MAD with rumbling sounds, I can feel it from my pouch rumbling all the way down the intestines if u know what I mean. Plus I have been having diarrhea the past 3 days, is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Thanks

I am 4 days and my pouch is also rumbling and have had diarrehea as well, they told me it was because of the contrast for the test however at 8 days post op though, I do not think it could be that for you...

The rumbling is COMPLETLEY normal im 3 weeks out and it still rumbles. I had diareaha for bout 5 days. That's normal as well. Once u start ur purée stuff u will b solid again but make sure u take stool softners!!!

My stomach never makes noise. It does nothing but sag LMFAO

Everything you are experiencing is normal! My tummy was very loud for about 2 weeks and still is sometimes. It doesn't mean anything bad. I had diarrhea for about the first week and that's normal. You are drinking mostly liquids and when you get more solid food it will firm up.

Yep! Rumbly tummy is just par for the course. Seems to be air bubbles and gas rumbling around and simethicone drops ("Little Tummys" for babies) seems to help some with that.

Thanks so much for the replies. I feel a bit more relaxed about it. My husband and kids were keeping their distance from me coz I was stinking, between farting and pooping! Yuk but you will b glad to hear that today, my poop was much more solid, so that made me real happy. But I am missing my daughter's football game coz I don't dare leave the house. But 11bs gone in 8 days, in thrilled!

Congrats on the loss!

Hi big don. The darkness could be because of the Iron pills and stinky...yup! Totally normal:-) was told by my docs and friends who have had the surgery that they have stinky poops.
