  2. The same thing happened to me, I thought it was late dumping, but it turned out the dry heaving was a sign I was hungry. My stomach doesn't growl when I'm hungry I get nausea and dry heaving. Our mind tells us that because we are dry heaving that we must be sick so we don't eat. Next time try eating right after and you might feel better.
  3. I would say go for it. The skin on the top of your foot shouldn't change much.
  4. I guess it's good that you feel guilty about it. If you didn't feel guilt you'd be more likely to keep up the behavior.
  5. You are gorgeous!!!! You need to stop wearing those caps and let your hair hang.
  6. I would say it depends on where you are getting it.
  7. I have Tricare Prime and I wasn't required to do anything by Tricare. My doctor required blood work and a sleep study. I had surgery July 18th. My doctor gave me the Tricare requirements and it only stated that you be over 100 lbs over weight and a bmi of 40 or higher.
  8. I used to live in Plano. I really miss it. I'm trying to get back there.
  9. Have you experienced dumping before? Trust me, NOTHING is worth it. The cravings probably won't go away but your will power will grow and you'll be proud.

  11. Often WE tend to justify our actions because of certain events. Just remember the reason you had the surgery and where those foods got US in the first place. food is comforting to US, but it is also our silent killer. Although you may only be eating small portions, it still isn't healthy for you. WE have to get to OUR goal weight. WE have to live a better life, we have to LIVE. Eating the wrong foods will kill US. This forum is an excellent source of encouragement and motivation and I commend you for putting your situation on here because it will help someone else. Oh and once you experience dumping for the first time...I PROMISE you won't eat or drink what you aren't supposed to. Dumping for me is the most horrific experience. Imagine an angry Smurf wearing shoes with spikes on the bottom tap dancing on your pouch, with his buddy the kibbler elf tightening a wrench around it, not to mention tinkerbell with a plunger down your throat forcing whatever you just ate or drank back up and nothing coming up. NOT PLEASANT. I do not want this to happen to you. Head back to those glorious liquids (the recommended ones) and enjoy your new journey...sans dumping. Keep us posted on your progress and welcome to the losers circle.
  12. OMG....I just pulled out my license. I TOO WEIGH LESS THAN MY DRIVERS LICENSE SAYS. That deserves a fist pump, a slow clap, and a hell yeah!!!!
  13. It looks like it is from a restaurant. It just looks fresh and juicy.

  15. I was like that until I had my first Dumping episode. Now you can't pay me to try anything that I'm not supposed to and even some thing I am.
  16. What did you eat there? If you ate too fast it can make you feel bad. If you ate something (meat, veggie, rice) too soon, your pouch may not like it. It may have been the way the food was prepared (grease/oil).
  17. I will be 3 weeks post op tomorrow and I'm still tired. It has gotten better, but I have to take frequent breaks because I'm exhausted. Everyone is different so you may bounce back sooner.
  18. Here's is the nutritional info from Premier Nutritions website the Cookies have Soy Protein Isolate:
  19. Be happy that you can burp. Mine comes up to my chest swells until its painful, says SIKE and goes away. I glare at anyone that burps. I WANT TO BURP SO BAD. Ahhh... The little things.
  20. Here's the recipe: These were really just eyeballed measurements. So you might want to tweak it to your preference. 1 egg 16 oz can crab meat 3 tbsp light mayo 2 tbsp either old bay (by far the best!) or phillips seasoning 1-2 tbsp parsley depending on your preference two twists each of salt and pepper or to taste 1-2 tbsp lemon juice Optional 1 tsp dry mustard Combine all ingredients. If in puree phase this can be mixed in the food processor which means you can save money by buying the backfin or claw meat. There is no point pureeing lump! Use ice cream scoop to make 1/4 cup servings. I like to sprinkle old bay on top. Will make 8 servings. Broil about 8 minutes or until done. I made them in foil muffin cups so they can be individually frozen and pulled out for quick work lunches. Great with a little yellow mustard on the side!
  21. I waited 12 days for sex but I could have done it sooner. I gave head and swallowed on like day 9 with no problem or complaints. I'm a loser!!! DOS: 7/18/12 HW: 273 DOS: 260 CW: 241
