  1. Im glad all went well. I hope mine goes as well as yours did...Mine is at 8 am.
  2. And I'm so nervous! I am not scared to die just scared that if I do, my kids will be alone. My kids are scared especially my daughter and I don't know how to comfort them. Any ideas of what I can say that will calm them down??
  3. I love those bolthouse drinks but be aware that they have alot of sugar. DOnt forget to get a sippy cup too...it will help you take smaller sips.
  4. I'm feeling a lil like that too...there are things I will miss dearly and I am hoping that if I ever try them after surgery, that I get a vicious dump episode right after to teach me a lesson!
  5. Oh...and the fizzy deliciousness that is Coca Cola! Lol
  6. Cupcakes and poppers!!! Oh how I will miss them! :,( And anything that involves bread....I plan to stay as far away from those demons as I can...can't risk becoming a carb junkie again.
  7. Good to read! I'm glad all is well!
  8. So glad your surgery went well... Feel better soon!
  9. Bring something to keep you entertained/busy. Bring gas-x. Bring your own slippers (those weird socks never fit anyone and the grippy side always twist to the top of your feet! ) and the most important...bring CHAPSTICK!!! Your lips will be really badly chapped. That's all I can think of. And like americas_suiteheart said, walk! Good luck to you and keep us posted. God bless.
  10. Your body can get comfortable with what you may have been (or not been doing) and so it stops losing weight and starts regain. I've heard that if you go back to liquid diet for a lil bit and change up your exercise that you should start losing again. If you are working out try to change it up. Also start a food diary to see if there's a culprit in the foods you are eating. but honestly I would see a nutritionist.
  11. Give your tummy some time to heal and give yourself some time to learn it's new signals.
  12. Sounds like you put alot of thought into this decision and that you are doing it for the right reasons! I wish you lots of luck throughout the whole process and that you get to have your surgery done soon!
  13. That's strange...I would keep bothering them...Im fresh like that! lol My surgeon gives you a tentative date the same day they send out for approval, if you get approved before the date you get your surgery.
  14. Finally my surgeons office sent out my documents for approval and gave me a surgery date! If I get approved for my revision, I will be having it done August 10th! (10 days before i have to bake for my son's birthday...thanks alot doc! lol) Fingers crossed for me???
  15. 8/10 sounds good to me right now!
  16. I had that when I had my sleeve done....For me it was spasms. My surgeon gave me a medicine to help control them and that worked. You should call your surgeon.
  17. Way to go mama!!! No more big girl clothes for you!
