Kids are so funny!! My little girl who is 6 was one of the main reasons why I decided I needed to do this. I also have a 2 1/2 yr old boy. But she said a couple months ago "Mommy you're fat". OMG I lost it. I started crying and and of course she got upset. Needless to say, Yes that was a slap in the face and a very hard pill to swallow... I'm looking foward to NSV.. I don't have tricare. But my Ins didn't cover it either unless it was for diabeties....

Some Dr's don't do nicotine testing. And if they do it's usually a blood test. You're insurance doesn't care if you smoke it's the Dr's office. You can always ask if they test for nicotine. Then you don't have to worry so much. Good luck!!

Have you checked your Insurance to see if they cover bariatric surgery? And if they do what are the requirements you have to meet..

Did you get Zofran for nausea after surgery? Or do they not typically give it to patients.

When you were getting prepped for surgery and you met the Dr. What type of questions did he/she ask you. All answers are appreciated. Also for the women, I'm assuming they did a PG test on you. TIA Tami
