I am joining now because I hav my date July 25 and I am ready to lose this weight. I am 270 and my doctor says I should be 120-130 pounds that a loss of 150 or 140 pounds. I can't wait to share my progress with you and see what happens.

My surgery 7/25 down 58 pounds 278 to 220 no pre op diet all lost after surgery. I am in a size 16. And I can do XL and some L tops

I have now lost 58 pounds which means I have lost exactly half of my projected goal for weight loss! I will try to post a picture later. To Celebrate we are going to mountains to hike down to the crystal caves which is something I have not been able to do in 14 years. The hike down is fairly steep, about a mile, but hiking out is a tough one. About died doing it last time and swore it was my last. So when making goals for after surgery doing this hike was on my list. Now here is hoping I find it easier and I do it with minimal or no whining lol!! I'll take a picture after I complete it to show my first victory post-surgery not weight related!! Yay me!!

Ok my patient coordinator called me this morning and scheduled my surgery for next friday september 7th! I have a pre op appointment on wednesday sep 5th. Now im excited and sooo nervous!!!

I cannot believe that so many people feel the need to add a comment saying I hope you don't get approved or talking about insurance fraud. When did this group get so selfrightious. Seriously. No one should pass judgment and furthermore you should totally be approved and no don't heed that bs of its insurance fraud. People need to remember what it was like for them in the beginning of their journey.
I recommend if you need to "take a break from this thread" just do it. We don't need you to post as much. I think that's very passive aggressive and rude.

I am SO thankful that thi has been taken care of. It's not about not expressing ourselves. But he wasn't being respectful about it. Let us rejoice in the fact that bullying isn't ok here or any place else.
