I am sure you will feel differently once you notice more results. Imagine reaching your goal...that's worth the sacrifice! And after you reach your goal you can treat yourself to Mexican in moderation! Hang in there!

I went thru the "WTF did I do to myself?" As well after surgery. I was expecting to not be hungry, I always felt hungry. My doc had me on mush, I hate mushy stuff. Everyone around me was eating real food and I was in mourning that I wouldn't be able to eat again. I am now 11 Weeks out. I feel amazing. I can eat real food. The WTF's have passed and I am honestly able to say I am proud of myself for doing this, taking care of myself, putting me first. The hard moments are few and far between. Hang in there! This place is full of support and a great place to vent during those moments. Wishing you great success!

I feel your pain.
But you must remember why we did this to our selfs.
Are you going to support group meetings.
Last week I was at the breaking point my support group and this Fourm help me stay on track.
We all need help every now and then. Don't be afraid to ask we are here for you

It is tough! I am trying to make things as normal as possible. Still go out to eat with my husband and family/friends. I missed the social part of it. I don't eat much...just a couple of bites but at least I feel included. I wish you the best! Hope it gets better soon!

I had my surgery 7/25 at 270 got up to 278 now I'm 257

I gained 11 pounds when I went back from dehydration... It's a minor set back, but Water weight comes off easily.

I drink Vitamin Water zero taste good and
Nothing really in it better then unflavored water

I had moments like that around 2 to 3 wks out. I didn't as much as you did though. I would make myself stop eating even if I felt like I wasn't full. Be careful. You're pouch is healing. It will eventually catch up. TRUST ME. LOL. I thought something was wrong, too.

I have to say that i sometimes wish for your issues. I have the opposite lots of gas and tummy noises but very little activity. Can go for 3 days feeling bloated and full and no movement until using enema or suppository. Have tried multiple forms of Fiber, teas that promise relief and stool softeners + suppositories, enemas etc. now eating a cup of raw vegetables daily with limited results. Called doctor's office but still no real answers that last. I drink plenty of Water and workout for an hour 5-6 days a week so I have no idea what the problem is?????

Absolutely, obnoxiously stinky!!! And I have learned that since surgery I cannot gamble with a fart...., Today I sharted, now I know that is TMI but I just wanna let you know not to take that gamble ! ; )

Oh man, do I ever! I go several times a day and if I happen to toot, it'll run me out of the house. My surgery was May 1. I keep hoping it'll go back to normal. I also am always sore across my lower abdomen. Does anyone else have this?

8 yrs post op still have it. Perfectly normal!

Holy crap u get Protein already !! I am day 6 and still on Clear liquids. Low energy is to be expected hun and from what I have read very normal. Try not to overdo it and make sure your staying hydrated! Watch the drainage for color/smell and heat/redness around sites but hang in there!

Has everyone here had the laparoscopic surgery or open procedure? How about the Da Vinci Robotic Surgery?

Yea I would call the Doc ASAP! I had drainage the day of the surgery but nothing after. I'm 4 days post op and pain is all but gone. Just feel sore like I did a billion sit-ups/crunches. The incisions feel itchy every now and then but I just scratch around it and move along. But you shouldn't be bleeding at all.

I never had any bleeding at all. A tiny bit of drainage, which they said was normal. I would definitely check with the doctor unless someone else says it's normal.

I don't think I did but I'm not sure. :/

Wow that's scary! Did he have to do a blood transfusion? My doc didn't cut an artery but I was so dehydrated the entire time I was close to getting one.

Hang in there. The dizziness just could be meds and anesthesia but make sure your nurse knows about it. Happy for you!

How did your surgery go? I had mine on the 24th. Back at home now. Only thing that gave me pain was the gas.

Can't wait and can't believe it's here less than 12 hrs now. Any words of advice?
