Playing The Waiting Game!
I'm just amazed at how fast you got everything done, I did over 6 months of supervised diet and exercise and have stayed around the same weight for 4 months, but I'm hoping to have my referral by the end of the week so I can have my surgery by mid August.

Playing The Waiting Game!

That's great news I'm also waiting to see if I have been approved by tri care west, I'm just so nervous. I've been dieting and exercising for 8 months now and have been stuck at the same weight now for 3 months. I hope by Monday I get the email or call that says I'm approved and have my surgery next month. Can't wait to hear everyone's success story's good luck too everyone!!

Anyone Have Tricare?
That's awesome I'm so happy for you, my PCM wants me to just stick with diet and exercise because I'm only 21 and I can lose the weight but I've hit a wall and have stopped losing weight for a month now and I go see my PCM Monday and hopefully he can start getting me approved for the RNY soon!!! I'm hoping tri care can get me approved within a month (lets hope) how does your husband feel about you having the surgery?

Anyone Have Tricare?
I'm new to this site and I have tri care prime (west) my husbands in the navy and I've been talking to my pmc about having the surgery done. I go to see him tomorrow and kind of follow up with him on my diet, I started talking to him about it in may and he said that I might be able to have the surgery in July or august. I'm 5'2 and 208 pounds I started at 230 and have been dieting and exersicing with my husband 6 days a week. I suggest that you make an appointment with your pmc to start the process of having test run on you and letting him know what kinds of foods you eat and how long you have been on a diet. There is no wait list where I live at but it might be different in other places tri care west is different from the east. But if you can see your pmc on a regular basis the process may be much quicker. I hope that this has helped you and good luck on your journey
