  3. Welcome to the group .... as far as ur question i am only 18 days out. At first i was thinking about the band .... but my doctor said with my previous health issues and where i need to be rny was better. Talk to ur doctor.   5. I think its sad that so many of us have lost or will lose a friend because they can't understand why we have chosen the path we have. Having surgery is not an easy out. And its sad that they believe it is. Surgery makes it were i am not hungry 24 7 and if it wasn't for surgery i would still be a smoker. Yea i know that some would say if i could quit for surgery i could have quit any time but i have before and always started back up. This time i can't start back up cause i don't want an ulcer.   8. The day u decide to quiet drink lots and lots of Water. It helps clean ur body and dose make the physical part better. I have been smoke free for 4 months now and i still crave one every now and then but i know i can't cause my health is more important. Sent from my DROID RAZR using RNYTalk

  11. After surgery i was lucky to be able to drink an oz an hour. Now i just have to make sure i don't drink to fast or to much to quickly Sent from my DROID RAZR using RNYTalk

  18. I was happy with the 14 lbs i lost on the pre op diet. I do recommend staying off the scale once u get home till most of the gas and iv fluids r gone so u keep ur spirit up. I came home weighting more than what i weighted when i got there. I should have stayed off for a week or so. Sent from my DROID RAZR using RNYTalk
