Down 16 lbs since Weds but down 44lbs since pre surgery!!!

My doctor had me get one pill of Emend (used for chemo patients) to help with nausea and vomiting the morning of my surgery! This pill was a lifesaver!!!! I never and to this day still have thrown up or got nauseated! If, you can say something to your doctor about this pill! I know everyone reacts differently to meds but this was a miracle medicine for me!!

I'd be curious to see what everyone says as I'm in the same host as you! I'm afraid to wash or brush my hair because my hair is falling out so fast and it's do thin! I'm hoping now that I started my Vitamins and having more Protein foods it will help

My surgeon removed my Gallbladder the same time I was sleeved 15 days ago and also fixed my hiatal hernia .... 3 for 1 Surgery

I was sleeved on.10/7 and I took Emend pill the morning of my surgery and never have thrown up or been nauseated one time! I also got my gallbladder out and a hiatal hernia fixed! I swear this was a lifesaver drug! Also, my doctor gave me Reglan for nausea and Rx Prilosec to be on 4 months and Lortab as needed for pain! I'm not bragging at all but if I can help any fellow sleevers I'm glad to do so! Hope you all can get relief and start feeling better! Best of Luck!

Pre Surgery

I'm on day 9 of 14 and could have broth, cream Soups, sugar free pudding, Jello, Popsicles and yogurt along with my Protein Shakes and Crystal Light I lost 7 lbs in 5 of these days

Oct 7th in Michigan

Woke up with so many feelings and emotions ...
Getting ready to head to the hospital and best of luck on my fellow sleevers today!!!

I've had to break down and take a Xanex today because I'm so nervous for my surgery tmrw!
Praying for a smooth surgery with NO complications!!!

I'm crying right now but surgery is tmrw! I can't imagine how I will be afterwards!!!

I made sure to get my Protein in and my doctor had me on Metformin...it helped immensely with my appetite (day 12 of liquids)

I've been on liquid diet since Sept 23 consisting of broth, cream of Tomato Soup, sugar free Jello, sugar free Popsicles, sugar pudding, yogurt, cream of rice, skim milk, Water and Crystal Light
Surgery is a go in Michigan on Oct 7th

My Doctor demands you to stop smoking and give up pop but this might be why he is the best around!!!
