I am starting liquid diet next week

October 14th- surgery date started 2 week preop diet today which is a protein shake3x a day, a protein bar 2x a day and one meal consisting of 6oz of lean protein(chicken,fish,pork,turkey, 2cups of raw or 1 cup of cooked non starchy veg, 1/2 cup starch, 1 tsp fat. GOOD LUCK EVERYONE-

10/21 surgery date. Dr. David Bruce - Grandview Hospital in Dayton OH. Start liquid diet 10/11. EGD on 10/14. Pre op consult with Dr Bruce 10/17. And I CAN'T WAIT for all of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

Hi Everyone! I just wanted to let you know I have my surgery date of Oct 8! I am pretty nervous. I had been on this site in the summer but got so busy i was not able to get on much, forgetting my password, I was able to finally get on today!

I will read and catch up!

October 15, cant believe how fast it's coming!!! Having mine done at Abington Memorial Hospital with a great staff. Starting to get as the pre-op diet starts next Tuesday. Good luck all
