Day 1 of Liquids

So I am on tge preop liquid diet on a journey to lose 50 pounds before I can get the sleeve.

So far it has not been that bad. I actually feel less hungry than I thought I would. I am howeved afraid to leave my house. Without being too graphic, liquid in=liquid out. I guess its my body getting rid off the bad stuff.

Has anyone else experienced this? If so, how long did it last?

For me the first week of liquids was the toughest... You go to the bathroom a lot... But week 2 it should slow down considerably!

I made sure to get my protein in and my doctor had me on Metformin...it helped immensely with my appetite (day 12 of liquids)

I'm on day four, and my worst problem is at night! UP and down, urgh. But, I have worked most days (except yesterday) and I had to make a couple more trips to the potty and I worked it out. I probably held it cause I had to. Today though, I haven't had to go much at all. My biggest problem has been nausea. It seems to pass this morning. Hope that doesn't come back.
