  1. it was my health, I was on a downward spiral with high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes. I had been in the hospital (April 2013) with a bad abscess in my private region and they said it was due to my sugar being out of control, decided to focus on my diabetes, taking ten oral medications plus shots and still not in control, I brought up WLS and my doctor said I was a perfect candidate for it, and then it snow balled from there, had surgery in December 2013. I had lots of complications during the surgery ended up in the hospital for a month but now feel like I can say it was worth it.
  2. I am a 1 1/2 out and still do protein shakes daily
  3. I also thought it might be due to my age nearing that menopause thing (yuck) wonder if it would work for someone like me
  4. You will need to call them and find out if there are exclusions to the plan for bariatric surgery and if no exclusions they will be able to send you the guidelines lined out in your plan
  5. Mine said I would be on it for the rest of my life, I thought no way, stopped taking it after 4 months and now 1 1/2 years out I found I had to start it again

  8. I have been in a stalled area for almost a year. Part of me says just be happy where you are, but then part of me is ticked as I never broke into the 100's. I so badly want to loose this 47 extra pounds and get to goal but nothing seems to help

  10. I left the hospital still on diabetic medications but soon after getting home they were eliminated. Now at almost 1 1/2 years out I am worried about my sugar and my morning readings have been in the 120's
  11. following as I am breaking out bad on my chin, thought it was hormonal changes
  12. Congrats!!!! I wish my small town had a gym, or a trainer I so lack motivation, and my husband is no help at all
  13. wow I missed all of the action, lol, I wish there was a way to block interaction with a member
  14. that is a stupid rule, now can I block a know it all that is driving me insane with all of her

  16. I don't drink them not even sparkling water anymore
  17. I was always told that the insurance company goes by your first reading submitted by the surgeon as they expect some sort of modification after the initial visit
