Post-Op Grocery List

Ok, so I am trying to get prepared and have everything I will need at the house after the surgery. I have gotten some good ideas from this group and decided to make a post to get even more ideas!

So far I have,

Gas X

liquid Tylenol

Water

flavored water (non carbonated)

sugar free Jello

Sugar Free Popsicles

broth

juice - Non sweetened, Pulp-Free

I have more of course for the different stages of the diet.... pureed foods, solids etc. But this is my "starting list" for the liquid phase.

Any suggestions????

It's always best to read the labels and avoid any additives that might be detrimental to your own particular body chemistry. It doesn't bother me though, and I love the flavor! ????

Doesn't Crystal Light have Aspartame in it? I will have to be careful with the sugar free stuff because I cant have Aspartame. Gives me migraines.

Oh yes! My Dr actually paired up with a pharmacy and they make their own Protein shakes and Vitamins. But yes, Protein Shakes need to be on this list too! Thank you!
