My doctors program just requires a 24 hour surface free liquid diet prior to surgery. Although I have been preparing myself by replacing two meals with a Premier Protein (best ever) shake, with one normal meAl. Will be sleeved October 9th! Anyone else for October 9th?

Check out Premier Protein, I mentioned it in my support group and ppl have fell in love with it. I will be sleeved October 9th and I don't know what I would have done if I didn't find premier protein because I HATE all the other shakes.

Nope, if you shop there without a membership you end up paying fiver percent more. Still works out good either way lol. Also, premier protein IS sweet, but not chalky.

I am to be sleeved on October 9th. I attend support groups weekly. This topic was actually just mentioned on Thursday. Some people who have had the surgery already that were there said everything taste the same, others reported mild changes, and some gave examples of when they first got it done that for a week or two everything, for some even water tasted odd. Some said like sand, some said copper, and yes someone said soap. I wouldn't worry, but if u want that extra relief just call your doc to confirm. Best of luck and please send updates. Albany, New York here. My journey started in June, just got my surgery date Wednesday and I will be sleeved October 9th! It's a rough journey, but has been and will continue to be well worth it!

It took me FOREVER to find the perfect protein shake. I HIGHLY recommend Premier Protein shakes. They are in packs of 12 and have 30 grams of protein. I can only find them at Sam's Club and with membership they are $18.88, without membership it's and extra 5 percent.
