  12. Kabeerah~ Stick that cottage cheese in a blender and mix some blended fruit in with it..it will kinda be like a smoothie!! I bet you can drink that...anything that will come through a straw on the full liquid phase!!
  13. I think you will get alot of feed back on this subject!! There are a lot of people that have had problems on LBT and there are also alot more of us that have "SO FAR" had really great results with our bands...even the ones that had band removal had great results with losing their weight while the band was available to them and alot are still doing good flying "SOLO". I think the biggest question we all want to know is Exactly how permanent is this band of ours???Whats the very longest we are expected to keep it?? These to me are questions that still go left unanswered and could be for a long time to come!!! Just take care of your band and use it the best way you can !!! Never take it for granted!! Follow the rules and find that healthy you underneath!!!
  14. Bright I must say I too have problems with coffee that has whipped cream or anything with whipped cream for that matter... but if I order coffee with out the whipped cream I can drink it just fine .Its almost as if it sits in the pouch and comes back up after its sour like baby spit up...although I have no problems with milk, yogurt or cheese...so I'm puzzld as to why the whipped cream is such a pain. Cottage cheese gives me prblens but I think that is more because of the consistency of them....kinda like scrammed eggs big no no for me!!! Its good to se you posting I've missed seeing you here!!
  15. Shontel Congrats on getting a band date!!! Good luck to you and wishing you lots of success with your band!!
  16. Hey LBT buddies I need some advice on what questions to ask Plastic Surgeon on my 1st consult???I haven't made an offical appointment yet! I'm wanting to look into a Tummy Tuck,Breast lift(or possible implants too)Thinking of getting my arms done also! Any help would be great! I'm just at a loss for knowing what to be concerned about.HELP!!!! :omg: Also wondering what a good weight or how far from idea weight do I need to be before having PS done.
  17. I actually have been being very truthful and just telling people that I was banded.... I've not had one thing ugly said to me anout my decision...at least not to my face anyway"SHRUG" I really have been able to tell alot of people about the band and several have actually been checking into having it done. So my advice would be the ones you think need help with weight loss tell them about the band it might help them...but the ones you just wanna get them to leave you alone..just politley say thanks and that your eating smaller amounts and excersing.

Going to call plastic surgeon soon to see just how much more weight I need to lose before I can have some skin removed!!! Also gotta see how much it will set me back and if Ins co. will pay for some of it...if not it will be a very long time before I get on to having ps done!! Still just gonna keep on the right track and the scales reading a smaller # till then!!! Wishing you all continued success!! Jamie
