jazell Welcome glad you joined us. Their are lots of info on these boards that could help you with a lot of questions. I haven't been banded yet so I 'm not sure on your question ,but I wanted to tell you good luck and come back often. You will meet lots of new friends here!

I am waiting on Ins. approval any day now and then I go to 1 last visit with dr. and I'll get my surgery date that same day. i ve already done all other appt. get well soon!

Shaz I'm sorry I can't offer any advice on what your feeling because I haven't got my band yet,but I wanted to say I hope you get feeling better soon.

I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.

Dylans mom : I'm right there with ya I had a wonderful family and we always had plenty to eat,and life in our house was surounded by food. I think we ate in sad times happytimes all the time any time. Food was entertainment and socializing and the very best times that I can remember spending with my dad was on saturdays after not seeing him much threw the week, he would say you kids get in the car we are going for icecream! We were thrilled that he wanted to take us with him. I think food brings me comfort and a feeling of love and I know now that love and comfort comes from within and no food can give you that kind of comfort and love,but with my band I think it will help me say no to food alot more than I do now and then I can live and love life to the fullest!!!!You see it wasn't the icecream that made me feel close to my dad, it was the time he spent with us that mattered!

Greg I must say that you talk of our stories bringing tears to your eyes and here I sit with tears in mine when I read your last post it made me realize why I 've been on this sight evey single day since the first day I found it COMFORT AND FRIENDS THANK YOU ALL!!!
