Anyone else have trouble with protein intake?
Yes indeed...fluid trumps your protein intake during the first few weeks.

excessive belching
I think that is your "full" signal. I tend to get the hiccups when I'm at or near capacity. Many people here have the same signals...burping, hiccups and even sneezing.

I agree with Mel...your doctor should give you some sort of guideline for supplements. I chose Celebrate ..multi vitamin w/iron, B-50 Complex and calcium chews.

What am i doing wrong?
I've found that following a high protein/low carb the hunger really disappears. Seriously...the hunger is gone and I have to remind myself to eat. Maybe give that a try. Of course that means no potatoes, rice, flour, sugar...

What am i doing wrong?
Dare I say that 1 cup of food is too much right now?? You had your surgery this month right? Your stomach is still swollen and healing. I wouldn't strive to eat and be satisfied/full at this stage.

Stage 2: Mushy foods
shakes, creamed Soups, scrambled eggs, refried Beans with 2% Fage (sour cream substitute) and lot's of egg drop soup. During Stage 2 I really couldn't eat much. The effort it took to cook was not worth it...I could only eat about 2 tablespoons at most. HTH

Every day when I get on the scale I simply don't believe it! I swear I weigh myself at least 3 times in a row. I'm just so surprised at the number there. Life is good. Yes, I weigh every day...stalls and all.

Time off after Sleeve
I have a desk job and was off for 6 glorious weeks! I took FMLA and my employer has short term disability at 100%. I was quite fatigued the first couple of weeks; glad I could nap at my leisure.
-
Were you sleeved during the first two weeks of December?
Tina131- I started keeping a supply of calcium chews in my desk drawer at work and that has helped me remember. It's like a nice little chocolate snack during the day.

Need some new ideas for food pist op 6weeks?
What stage are you in at 6 weeks out? It varies from doctor to doctor what they allow you to eat.
