Question about 2 week liquid diet
It's probably due to TOM. I'm guessing the scale will go down after it's over.

Guess what?!
Good for you! It's exciting huh?

Were you sleeved during the first two weeks of December?

Did you keep it a secret?
Yes, people who are not overweight and have never has weight issues just don't understand. That's why I didn't tell my family...none of them have ever been overweight. Plus I didn't want to hear " why don't you just do WW again. You lost a lot of weight on that program."

Did you keep it a secret?
This is a hot topic indeed! I told no one but my HR Rep and my supervisor. This is a decision I made and I didn't want any negative feedback. I agree with you Wendyt it's not about being ashamed; I choose to keep my medical history private.

Few choices for protein shakes for pre-op liquid diet?
Interesting... Why does your NUT think a low carb diet is bad before surgery?

Were you sleeved during the first two weeks of December?
I had a stall for 2-3 weeks too ( not sure how long...stopped focusing on the days) but, you/we know that it's only temporary and the scale will move again!

best haircut when your hair falls out?
I would keep it shoulder length while the new hair grows in with layers for movement but, I've always been partial to medium/long hair. I got a pixie cut in my 20's and I vowed no short hair EVER again. I just feel more feminine and lady like with longer hair.

You're doing good Gettingsexyback! Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have. I'll do my best to help you along in your journey. I'm a creature of habit and my meals typically look like this: B: Premier Protein shake L: Egg drop Soup with a scoop of unjury protein powder D: 2 ounces of salmon or tilapia, 2 tablespoons of green veggies ( I'm never able to finish all of it) Snack - Ostrim Jerky or more egg drop soup I'm getting about 60 ounces of Water a day at this point but I'm trying to increase that amount. My bariatrician is happy with the amount of water I'm getting at 2 months post op.

Congratulations on your weight loss Shellvsg! I totally understand the fear of a regain...I think many may have this fear from years of dieting and failing. You'll reach your goal before you know it AND keep it off!

How do I get motivated during this LOOOOONG wait?
Indeed!!! I have been using MoM and Colace for the constipation. I'm looking into trying a Pro-biotic as well. Edited to add- I HATE MoM but when you need relief...you'll do what's necessary.

Cocktail Party Attire
Renttherunway.com might be good too...nice dress and no commitment.

Cocktail Party Attire
I would try Ebay if you know your size. I got a David Meister gown (MSRP $575) for $60 dollars! If Ebay is not your thing try Saks, Neiman's, Neiman's Last Call or Nordstrom's.

What does your NUT say?

Were you sleeved during the first two weeks of December?
That is awesome Odessallen!!! I'm still doing a Protein shake in the morning. I think having a variety of Protein Shakes helps so I won't get bored...cookies and cream one day and vanilla cheesecake the next! I haven't really been interested in eating which is a HUGE plus! I did have some grilled salmon this week that was heavenly!!! Basically just sticking to Soups (egg drop has been my fave) with a scoop on unflavored powders?utm_source=BariatricPal&utm_medium=Affiliate&utm_campaign=CommentLink" target="_ad" data-id="1" >unjury Protein powder and lean protein. I was a volume eater before surgery and only being able to have 5-8 bites is good but, I no longer look forward to eating. I know that's a good thing.

Good job! My scale was stuck for a couple of weeks as well but I just kept to the program. You/we know that the weight will come off and the body is just doing some readjusting.
