  1. I was sleeved on June 18, 2013, and there are some weeks where the scale doesn't move, but so far I've lost 70 pounds in 10 weeks. I recently switched my fitness routine from Leslie Sansone's Walk Away the Pounds to Hip Hop Abs.
  2. Your legs and waist definitely look smaller.
  3. I was sleeved 6/18/13. I was so worried when I noticed that my stomach was lopsided, but the doctor stated it was swelling that would subside over time. About a month out, it was back to normal.
  4. I'm 2 months out and I've lost 40 pounds the first month and 30 pounds in the second month and my starting weight was 365.
  5. Girl you look wonderful!!! Keep up the good work.
  6. I'm a nurse on a med surg floor and my job requires a lot of lifting, pushing, pulling and standing. This is why I initially chose to take a month off. Since I had a lot of extra sick time left over, I decided to take an additional 2 more weeks. Although I was feeling ok at about 2 weeks post op, I still felt physically drained. After a month I was feeling like my old self again. When I did return at 6 weeks post op, I made sure not to do any heavy pushing or pulling.
  7. This is such a beautiful letter. Congrats to you guys on the beginning of a new life.
  8. Wow!!! You look great.
  9. I'm a floor nurse on a med surg floor also, and I took off 4 weeks. because my job requires a lot of lifting on patients and running up and down the halls.
  10. Wonderful!!! Keep up the good work.
  11. Cute!!! What was your starting weight?
  12. I had 6 incisions that are barely visible at 9 weeks out.
  13. Was sleeved on June 18, 2013. Down 65lbs with no complications.
  14. My incisions were sealed with dermabond and I didn't have any bruising. Some people just bruise easier than others. I'm a nurse and as long as you're not having any fever, swelling around the incision sites or excruciating pain, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
  15. Keke, I think this is a fear that most of us have. Just follow your doc and nut's advice and you will be fine.
  16. @ tconn25, I have The Ultimate Collection.
  17. ThedivinemsQ, I did a 2 week preop diet where I lost 11 lbs. Thanks everyone!!!!
