  1. @ aaa183, I was sleeved on 6/18, and the first week was rough for me as far as being depressed. I had buyer's remorse and would burst out in tears at any given moment. I was also upset that this surgery would only complicate things as far as being susceptible to new illnesses. Thankfully, I haven't experienced any pain, nausea, or any other complications. It does get easier day by day. As far as the gas, I would suggest walking or doing housework, anything to stay moving. I'm am happy that I finally did something for myself, and the 31 lbs, I've lost in two weeks is just an added bonus.
  2. I'm post op day 12 and I am taking chewable centrum and calcium citrate, sublingual b12 and iron and biotin tablets. My dr told me to stay away from the flinstones because they had more than the recommended dose needed for adults.
  3. Congrats!!! I can't wait until I'm out of the 3's.
  4. Wow, what an inspiration!!!
  5. Fabulous!! What is your workout regime?
  6. Wow!! Hope everything works out for you.
  7. Walking is the best remedy for those gas pains.
  8. I'm still on full liquids. I won't start puréed foods until post op week 2. I really don't have the urge to eat.
  9. Keep up the good work!!!
  10. Hi everyone!!! I'm a newbie to the forums and was sleeved on 6/18. Today is one week post op for me and I noticed some swelling to my left upper abdomen directly under my breast. I'm a nurse so I started freaking out, when I thought of all the different things that it could be. I'm not having any pain, nausea, fever or any signs of infection at my incision sites. My surgeon said just to keep an eye on swelling. Should I be concerned? Did anyone else experience anything like this? I pray it's not a hematoma or a hernia.
  11. Hi everyone!!! I'm a newbie to the forums and I was sleeved on 6/18. I lost 24lbs when I went in for my checkup today.
  12. I was sleeved on 6/18. I haven't had any pain or nausea, thank God. I'm basically just trying to get my protein and fluids in. I'm 5 days post-op, on full liquids, and was wondering if Smoothie King gladiator with strawberry and pineapple acceptable?
