Wish List for Xmas exchange
Hmmmmmmmmm, I am a bit easy... 1. Candles that REALLY smell great, the more scent the better. 2. Snowmen 3. Colors in house are earth tones and cranberries 4. Fuzzy soft socks 5. Hand made crafts 6. Peanut M&M's (evil winter necessity) 7. Anything with a "woodsy" theme or country theme really 8. Love black bears (not the teddy bears but the real ones) 9. Any "teacher" stuff (6th Grade) 10. Sex Toys (just in case DeLarla is listening hee hee hee) Things I would not like.... earrings, bracelets, religious (Jesus) items, purfume, hate coffee and green tea, biggg adult books (love them just don't have time)

Lap vs Bypass
I also knew, but I chose the band for the reversability. However, I didn't know the band was long term not life long. I would have chosen bypass had I thought about it. I want something forever with no additional surgeries.

Lapbandtalk Cruise 2007!!! Official Sign Up And News
Missy, We are taking cabins as we have them now. As people sign up we book it if it is available and they add it to our group. But deposit is due at time of signing up so you have to be fairly sure you want to go and can go. TaNgLe, That is a good idea. Maybe you could organize a snorkel trip in the reef? That would be a blast! Okay, I must be cruise happy because I just signed up and paid (gulp) for a 7 night cruise in Hawaii for New Years. We leave on Dec 30th and I am so excited! I have never been to Hawaii so I am super excited! ((sigh)) and then this 7 night cruise in June. We also have another 7 night cruise at the end of July on the Freedom. Geez, I think I am going to go into serious cruise debt.

George Bush: Worst American president in history
Just a question.... how did we elect someone so stupid, not once.... (oh no, because that would have just been a mistake) but TWICE???

anyone experience dumping syndrome?
Actually banding made me more "regular" if anything. I used to sometimes go 2 days without and now I am on a daily routine. Depending on what I eat (because I eat less and fill faster) I try to make sure I "vary it up" a bit instead of doing all of one style of food before starting on another style on my plate.

need baby gift
My vote is the "baby sacks" in linen white. Very classy, very comfy for baby, and look so darn cute when they sleep in their sacks!

RE-USE of the FILL NEEDLE

how soon can I use a Spa and Pool?
Public spas breed yeast infections unless it is superbly maintained. Which most are neglected because the pool is the most maintainable. 6-8 weeks after operation is my guess for soaking and I suggest spending some money on some great bath items and relax in there.

Poll:trip to swim with dolphins in the caribbean
Hmmmmmmmmm, I would really like this! Can you make sure you plan it on a date close to the LBT cruise so I don't have to fly back and forth? Myself and another one of my friends would like to go on this. Do you have any ballpark ideas of how much it will cost? Just a side note, I wonder if this could be a pre- or post- trip option for those on the LBT 2007 cruise? I think some may be very interested.

Suggestion for Xmas Exchange
I think this is a great idea, as I celebrate Yule (ie christmas for all of you folks who don't know what yule is). Same basic idea, but nature based. Still a big dinner, still have a tree, still use decorations and there is present exchanges but the Christmas tree is an artificial yule spirit tree tree. The live baby tree is planted in spring. But I have no issues going to buy other holiday stuff to make others smile. This year's them is Wilderness Yule. Lots of bears with santa hats, lots of snowflakes, lots of wreath and lights, lots of western style winter decor, natural decorations such as bunched dried herbs and leaves, pine cones, etc. And to be quite honest I would rather have something handmade than store bought for this exchange just to keep in the spirit of things. I plan on creating a handmade door wreath for someone. I used to do it all the time, but my familyfriends already has them so now it is someone on here to get a turn to have a "mystical winter wreath". Okay, all the hints for now! Is Kat doing it again? Where is that Kitty hiding? ((looks under a pile of last months exchange papers)) nope, not there.... ((looks under all of her teaching books)) nope, not there either.... ((looks in the fridge... good girl! not there either)) Hmmmmmmmmm, did we microchip her? Where is she at?

question for everyone, please answer
I prefer Flouro just so that I can "see" it going in. Plus, it also checks for slippage or erosion can be seen under flouro. I have never tried the blind fills simply because I am a huge baby and being a human pin cushion doesn't appeal to me. And I have heard something about puncturing the tubing, which then requires a small surgery to fix it. Nope, no thanks. As long as I am not being cut open, I am going to Mexico and doing my fills there with my "minivacation" in San Diego for the weekend. And it is STILL cheaper after all of that!

Thanksgiving
I know it is a bit early but I am guessing our lists are long. My question is this: What are you thankful for (funny, serious, otherwise)? I am thankful for a loving and supportive husband who drives me just enough crazy to keep me coming back for more. I am thankful for parents that can now say they are proud of me. I am thankful for healthy family and friends that are good to me. I am thankful that my son is well mannered, nurturing, loving child that has deep and sincere ties to others emotions yet can still appear to be that boy with everything with a sense of humbleness that is charming. I am thankful for my son's achievements in sports. I am thankful that I have two perfect fur babies that love me way more than I love even myself someday. I am thankful for the 6th graders that keep me going in motivation. I don't educate them nearly as much as they have given me over the last few months. And I hope someday they realize that. I am thankful for a warm fire in my fireplace with a beautiful home and comfort in living. I am thankful for the trees that have really regrown from the horrible fire we had years ago. I am thankful that I can now see thanks even when I didn't want to even wake up in the morning. I am thankful to my band for giving me that boost of strength and courage I knew was inside of me. I am thankful for Lunesta for helping my sleeping disorder FINALLY! I am thankful for LBT for being there for me when I need them, even after I don't post for a few weeks. I am thankful that I live in a country with consitutional rights such as freedom of religion, speech, press that allows me to be the person and woman that I know I can be. I will keep adding, but what are you thankful for?

Woooooo Hoooooooo! It is a girl!
She is definitely smart and very "thoughtful and genuine". She most certainly loves from her whole heart and she basically snagged me at hello with those loving eyes. Even when she is naughty, she cracks me up with that "who me?" look.
