  1. HI ! your all rocking! Ok i am breaking down and buying a road bike this week. I just can't afford a Triathlon Bike. SO i cant decide between the Trek 1.2 or 1.5 aahhhh. Such a debate. I want to go Trek because there a Wisconsin Company and someone needs to stimulate the local economy now that the Packers arent going to (I slipped that in there for BG)
  2. ok just popping in to make sure your all ok. Your all rocking!!!! lol. u hardly even need me! YOUR all amazing. Renewed: 25 mins!!!! and at 5.0mph you nearly ready for a 5k race!! at 5.0 you would be looking at 36 mins of something depening on hills. that respectable!!!
  3. Happy b day!! Yeah i sent it to my Team USA Tri coach how was in the bike industry for 20yrs and he said it was a good deal too. But i am just afraid to mail order a bike!

  8. thanks so much Frani!!!!! Your my band sister! Salsa is my other band sister hers is on Sat. Today: 45min run...45min spin class. Gota catch a plane tomorrow...
  9. On my off days i bike, swim or weight lift. Honestly the best thing ever would be to swim because it is the exact opposite of running. When you run you body gets all scrunched up and close together and manly your working your lower body When you swim your force your body to stretch out the total opposite of run and you use manly upper body strength. And for a woman it gives you a super sexy back. But do what works for you!
  10. ok ok ...just cas lulac told me too im here Aug 3rd : 6 mile run, 10 mile bike and a open Water swim in lake michigan Aug 4th run 4 miles, 20 min elipitkill , 30 win pool swim Aug 5th : 20 miles off road bicycling
  11. thanks everyone! I couldnt of done it with out the mental support i get here.
  12. Hey thanks!!!!!!!!!! That means ALOT TO me. O and try Sparkspeople.com it kicks dailys butt.
  13. This line literly makes me cry like a baby. I am not some skinny little guy that runing is a breeze for. I am not someone that got banded that had 40lbs to lose..not there is ANYTHING wrong with that i just wnat you to know i had ALOT of weight on me and i became a runner anyway. Georgia: About your knee problems...yes i get a little knee pain sometimes..its normal...its not really bad...normally i get when i do two days running in a row for long distances...i would say if you start you run and you feel pain in it that doesnt go away after its losened up that day is not a good day to run. YOu may have to rest it for 3-4 days if its hurting but youll be fine. Dont panic. The more you run the stronger it will get.
  14. WOw! THanks for the response everyone!!! I want to encourage new Banders with this thread also. Yeah i am on my Surgeons panel next week to take questions from people. I have been in a regional Magazine and he has been talking baout putting me on his TV commercial Success? Exercise has been the biggest part of it for me. Also daily things are huge. Knowing that its all about long term goals intstead of just short term goals. I am NOT perfect. I cant say a twix has not passed my lips in the last 12 months but i make much better choices than i used to. As i get closer to my goal my loss is slowing down but i am ok with that. I think if i can get to 200lbs in the next 12 months would be ideal for me. MY head is the worst part. I can not get it to catch up to my body...i still think of myself as huge sometimes. But i dont have to worry about not fitting into a resturant both or an airplane seat or a roller coaster anymore.
  15. hey good job on the Muddy. I am plannig to be there next year. Funny that i was in Chicago all week last week but had to come home on Friday.

  24. i agree. Men dont want to feel like they need to be told how to do it but the fact is sometimes they do need to be told. So you got to be o so careful. Of course we want to feel like a super stud but you can tell us how to become a better one. Thats why places like this are good. You can get a feel for what women want.
  25. we have one no its not too tight just use a lil lube when you put it on. Works great!
