  1. hi pam i know what you mean about ordering food at nights my coworkers are always running out during the wee hours to the 24 hr dinner it is hard i try to advoid i have to go try that tuna thanks also running the long hallways is a lot of walking esp when you have rooms on either side of the hallway and you have very needy people calling all the time lol
  2. i should calculete my walking i sure do run around alot at night sometime s i work with the babies i just want this to work so i am extra concern about everything i keep telling myself this is a slow weight loss method that is better for ya i think i need my first fill i feel hungry more and more less time i see the dr on fri
  3. marie i am a nurse i am able to heat food up i am bringing weight watchers and lean cusine meals in i am using the treadmill 2o min a day for start uo will be increasing to 30 hopefully in a few weeks thanks for the advice everyone
  4. hi everyone i was banded jan 17 i startred solids last week i work nights 7p to 7a having hard time arrange food and how to eat 3 meals any suggestions also getting into eating my 70gms of protein a day also any one know a supplement that boost premenapausal slow metaboiisum up thanks julie
  5. marie i am on solids now and have not had my first fell yet this felling is terrlble i think i eat to fast and did not chew enough with the chicken it can i feel this even when i didn,t have a fill yet feels like it is stuck right in the middle of my chest and i have slight nausia
  6. Hi there, lately I am experiencing a lot of indigestion. Sometimes it feels like something is stuck in the middle of my chest. Has anyone been experiencing these things? How can I try to prevent this? thanks julie
  7. i wes banded on jan 17 the size of the banded is 10cm with this size band would it take a lot of foills to feel restriction haven,t gone for a first fill yet pretty sure i am going to need one i see the dr next week just curious thanks julie

  9. try atkins protein shakes really good i was on claer liquids foe three weeks so they were a life saver
  10. i was banded on jan 17 just started solids on sunday i feel pretty full after eating smallportions of protein and veg cannot get carbs in yet is this common without a fill i last about 4-5 hrs whithout being hungry i know he put in a 10cm band fron what i read thats a big band will this change and i will get hungry and more hungry until my first fill and with this size band will it take a lot of fills to feel restriction julie

  12. hi everyone well i did it had a good day on solids able to tolrate all i had one thing what i was craving chicken roasted with gravey i couldn,t wait to have it and when i did it was horrible it wasn,t as great as i thought it would be i just had enough until i felt full and dumped the rest what a disaaapointment in a good way lol well thanks for listening julie
  13. hi jammin/loosen i should of reserch a .lot more better before i had it don e don,t get me wrong i am happy i had it done but i should have reserch possible reactions that might happen after wards so i would have been better repaired lots of luck julie

  15. hi i was wondering boy do i need to go back to work too much time to think all these crazy questions lol well here is it does the majority of the banded people expernice pb,s and vomiting all the time or just when you eat too fast and don,t chew right is the trancition from liquids to solids going to be easier then i think and a another question this is way out there has anybody tolrating popcorn in small amts just wondering thanks julie

  17. hi it took me a full 3 weeks to feel ok after surgury i still get tired easerly but it is getting better i have cravings for dark meat turkury with gravey thats weird i start eating on monday scared to death
  18. yes something is not right go to the emergency room if your dr is not able to see you you need to have a full medical work up with a full cardiology work up also
  19. hi i am going on soilds on monday from being on all liquid diet for three weeks scared to dearh on eating again what should i start with first i know the moister the better i also start work on sunday night 11-7a i was thinking of bringing a lean cusine meal is that ok i just don,t know what to expect when i start eating i don,t want to vomit or have pain some of these stories i read are really eye opeaners for me like erosions and slipping etc i am tolrating liquids very well do you think i will tolrate solids just as well also today when i was getting clered at work to come back to work the hosp dr told me he read that were they are findind the banded pt are having low calicium levels any one heard that thaks julie

  22. i bought a new scale and weighed myself today and was very disappointed about the weight lost since being banded on the 17 of jan defore surgury was 261 and almost three weeks later with being on a liq diet clear with only protein shakes down to 251 is this out of norm am i doing something wrong i was hopeing a bit more then that on just being on liquids did anyone else have a slow weight loss in the begining or is it just me thaks julie

Mistybreezes : I Really Feel Better Knowing I Wasn,t Alone Out There Feeling Awful With Thr Heart Racing And Weak I Really Glad You Are Feeling Better One More Week Until Muschy Faze Its Count Down Time I Havn,t Weighed Myself Yet I Need To Go Out Today And Buy A Really God Scale I Will Do That Later I Know With Me It Will Improve Greatly Once I Start With A Little Food I Off Work For Another Week Just To Get Passed This Liquid Part Now That I Am Feeling Better Getting Bored Thinking About Going Back Towards The End Of The Week Well Talk Later .

Hi I Was Banded On The1/17 I Was Fine The Fist Day But After That It Was A Emtonal Roller Coaster With Everything I Had Loose Stools Still Do My Anxiety Was Extremely High I Felt Awfull For The First Two Weeks I Was Even Hospitilized For 3 Days For Tacycardia Unexplain For Now Echo And Stress Was Normal All The Found Was A Cyct On My Adrenl Gland That Mat Have Cause It I Am Stii On Liquids Until Next Week But Feel Alot Better I Was Almost To The Point Of Asking My Surgurn To Take The Band Out At One Point I Think It Was My Bodys Reaction To The Surgury And No Food But I Am Use To It Now It Will Get Better Julie
