HI Julie,

My Dr. put me on liquid vitamins, calcium and B-12 for life. The best source of calcium and the cheapest is Tums Ultra you only need one per day. The B-12 comes in thin strips made by Jamison.

As for going onto solids, I went fro Liquid to puree then to solids it seemed like and easy transition, You are right when you say moist foods, like stews are a good start, but check your lean cuisine they are very high in salt which I found to be irratating to my stomach.Perhaps thick soups would be easy for you to try first and they take a long time to eat so you really so feel full quickly.
