Regrets!
I regret it, but I am in a teeny tiny minority here. Most people who follow the guidelines lose weight & love their sleeve. I have had no complications except dehydration and the dreaded hair loss & I have lost 80+ lbs, but I do regret the surgery. In a nutshell, I thought after a year of preparation I was ready to live a new way, eat and drink a new way...but I wasn't. I am not me now, my life is not the same, eating and drinking this way - and I miss me and I miss the life I had. Now 4 plus months, I am working diligently on acceptance and peace with my decision...just suckin' it up and movin' on, cause what is done is done. I am lucky so far...no thirst & no hunger. I can't imagine drinking 64 oz of anything in a day, so far...but maybe it will get better in time. I can't imagine getting 70 gram of protein so far, either. Those are my dr's guidelines...and I just feel too much discomfort still to take in that much. Everybody is different. Everybody's body reacts differently. I wish you the best of luck. Take care. My advice for after surgery - keep sipping and don't stop sipping & walk even though you may feel like that is the last thing in the world you want to do. Again, good luck!

Pancreatitis due to surgery!
Pancreas, gall bladder, and liver issues are all possible consequences of the sleeve, according to my dr and nut...every doctor is different and tells different things....I hope you feel better. Take care!

is anyone not hungry after having gastric sleeve surgery
I am 4 months out...I do not get hungry. I know it won't last forever, but I hope to lose as much as I can while it lasts. Everybody is different. I've read posts from people right out of surgery who say they are hungry, so there is no guarantee.

Stretched ?
You are too early out to have stretched anything....swelling can last for weeks and even months for some...I'd say it was subsiding some & that's why you were able to drink more...fluids and protein need to be your focus...I know it is hard and gets old, but you gotta do it..you will feel better & lose better. Remember, sips and go slow! Best of luck to you! Hang in there!

Extreme stomach pains almost 6 months out..
What did your surgeon say? He/she didn't want to run a scope, tests, or anything to check your sleeve out? Hope you feel better. Keep us posted!

Do Not Take PPIs if at all Possible
I am 4 months posts-op. I was told by my dr and nut if I didn't take one daily before breakfast every day for one year...I'd develop acid reflux, gerd, etc etc....so I have been taking it...I've never had any problems prior to surgery...wonder if I should stop?

My arms! UGH!
I am right there with ya! I have been using firming lotion, too. I have been doing arm machines at the gym, but not daily. I have heard that kettlebell exercises are really good, so I am going to try that & do it daily. I won't wearless sleeveless without a jacket or shrug..and I really want to, but I don't think I will ever be able to. A friend of mine had her arms done after bypass surgery..ugly, huge scars...so, I still wouldn't be able to wear sleeveless. Best of luck to all of us with arm issues!!
