Can someone direct me? What is 5:2?
I read that 5:2 is for sleevers who are over 1 yr out and won't let anyone under 1 year in their group. I can't wait to join them lol.. NUTs are the nutritionists.... Hope this helps. I am 5 months out yesterday so I'm still a newbie lol....

Regrets?
I had surgery February 19th of this year. I am down almost 60 pounds. I never regret doing this surgery. It has truly been life changing.... I agree about not drinking with meals start now!!! If you are a big soda drinker regular or diet cut back now.. I started back on diet coke a month after surgery and always felt bloated. I have singed weaned myself off of them again and hope to never go back!!!

Bye bye thunder thighs...tales from the sleeved side.
I met my cousin for dinner tonight and we split fajitas for ONE.. There was food left on the plate lol. I am amazed at how full I get and to think I used to eat fajitas for one by myself with queso and blah blah!!! My weakness is hot tamales.. I'm off diet coke and a box of hot tamales lasts me like 3-5 days but its like I have to have them... Chocolate no grosses me out, but how do I stop eating hot tamales. I do not eat them daily I will say that... I don't keep them in my house...

My Texas Sleevers
I started at 263 size 20/22 pants and 22/24 shirts. Today I am 208 and wear a 12/13 pants and a XL shirt.. Haven't regretted my decision. I wish I had had brain surgery too though to not make me still want the stuff bad for me.. My dr says in moderation but I don't know moderation so I try and stay away from it. I started drinking diet sodas about a month out and after so much gas and bloating and fear of stretching my sleeve I am now soda free again.....

Feeling very frustrated!
I absolutely agree.. It's getting better. I haven't gotten on the scale on a few days.. I'm ok with that and I am stopping eating when I want one more bite cause it tastes so good. Like someone said they didn't do brain surgery so I'm going to have to live with this forever. It's all good

Feeling very frustrated!
That's a great idea!! I have weaned myself off of diet cokes this week.. I haven't had one since Saturday and my biggest payoff yet. I just bought a new pair of jeans for a conference and they are a size 12... I cried in the dressing room... My scales are at a stall but I don't care I bought a size 12 jeans..... In February I was a 20/22.... Feeling blissfully happy today!!!!

To tell or not to tell that is the question.......................
I don't seek people out to tell.. If the subject comes up I say yes I had help.. I mean come on people even using the Atkins diet as an example. I went from eating 3-4 pieces of grilled chicken to not even eating 1/4 of a chicken breast. That is normally when the conversation comes up.. I've worked with these people for years so they are like extended family. I think to each their own. If you want to share then share if you want to keep it personal then do that and never ever ever feel guilty about your decision!!!!

Not sure about progress

To tell or not to tell that is the question.......................
I have lost over 50 pounds since February... I didn't tell anyone preop because I didn't want anyone's perspective about if I'd eat right I'd lose weight or blah blah.... Now that I'm post op I have told people I had surgery only because I have dropped so quickly.... After I told a friend I did it she made the choice to do the surgery also... Of course I've had acquaintances say oh you took the easy way out to which I respond no I took the option best for me... I don't think having 75-80% of your stomach removed is the easy way out but that's just me... I needed a jump start and now that I have it there is no looking back!!!!
