  1. Keep shopping. I've had no issue finding single bottles of these and you DEFINITELY need to sample a bottle before buying an entire case. They have a "unique" taste to them that some people don't like. I'm able to tolerate it and don't mind it so much. You should also look into this: http://bjsbariatrics.com/product/synSamplePack.html Lots of people here have ordered this and were pleased (myself included).
  2. I can understand being concerned about price, but time and time again the cheap stuff ends up tasting... cheap. If you're talking about the RTD 40oz bottles, I drink half at a time so it's like two for me (your body only absorbs 20g of Protein in a sitting).
  3. I love happy stories, thank you for sharing this!
  4. I think I was just a month out before having sashimi. I tolerated it very well. Note that I didn't have any rice. I was even okay with the soy sauce and wasabi. You'll want to ask your surgeon, however, when you can.
  5. There's a few of us here in the Dallas area, not sure what you're looking for in a buddy. I'll also tell a couple of female friends of mine here about your thread. Who is your surgeon and what hospital are you using for your surgery?
  6. You didn't cheat did you? It'll only prolong the misery. I'm pretty pathetic and mine only lasted 4 days.
  7. My surgeon said when I get older I will have to start taking it again.
  8. Tell me you did not try to eat the burger with the bun!
  9. Type 2 here. Have not taken Metformin since surgery (surgeon took me off them and other meds). I'm getting between 89-109 consistently daily since.
  10. It'll be 7 weeks in 4 days, haven't vomited since surgery. Have wanted to after eating too much a few times, but haven't.
  11. That's the beauty of the two-week preop diet. Not only are you going to make it to your surgery date, but it's going to make things so much easier after surgery. You'll have the nominal after-surgery complaints but at least you won't have to feel like you did the first few days of the diet on top of it.
  12. Xylitol is amazing. Stevia has a funky aftertaste to me Someone should mention agave.

  17. Not a silly question at all and no, it is not me. Call it wishful thinking!
  18. You were too busy to date (work, philanthropic persuits, etc.) Why bring up the rest? The right time is once you figure out the guy is a keeper. Up until that point, is it really his business?
  19. i'm gonna have to try these, I keep hearing people talk about them.
  20. Do they come in a more a manly color, like Realtree Camo! Seriously tho, how much does each bowl hold and where did you get them?
  21. I was so angry the first few days of my two-week preop diet that I wanted to sue people! If i had to do this surgery again, I'd demand a two-week preop diet. it made my life so much easier after surgery.
  22. it's amazing how different it is for each person. Do what your surgeon directed you to do and it'll all be fine soon!
