I got myself some cute little bowls so that I literally could not get to much food lol. Using a normal size bowl just depresses me because I can't put but a couple spoonfuls of Soup into it....these I can fill them about half way full and it makes me feel like I'm getting more even if I'm not.

Those look great. I use my Fiestaware broth bowls - which look to be about the same size. Holds maybe 3-4 ounces and works great for most of my foods. And psychologically, it makes me feel like I'm not being deprived...which I'm not. 3-4 ounces totally fills me up...but looks a little lost in a bigger dish.

I also took that approach. Small bowels, plates, forks, spoons.. the lot. I grab my regular spoons/forks now, but still use the smaller plates/bowels. I like portioning and much less waste. I can only get in about 4oz. anyway so why not.

They hold about 3 or 4oz and they come at target 4 for 1.99 lol! I only had eyes for the pretty pink though lol

Great idea! I found some sample/appetizer dishes on Amazon and they look fun. They are orginally used for tastings as cooking events.

Well, these bowls are no good for that but if you want something that "comes with a lid and is good for travel".....

I have the Gladware 1/2 cup plastic containers. They have lids and are microwavable. I think it was an 8 pack for $2.50 at Walmart.
