Clothing Addiction After Weight Loss...
Wait, did I write this post?? I do the same thing. I buy clothes at Thrift City every time I lose a size. The other day they had 75% off and I bought like 50 items all in sizes down to 10. I am 14 now. I know I am addicted but I keep cleaning out bigger stuff. I am not spending a whole lot so I don't feel too bad about it. Hopefully once I get to a size 8 or 6 I won't need an additional closet

Honestly, who has had zero problems
I had surgery 3/6/13. I have had no problems at all.

WTF? Am I wrong?
I wonder if your "thin" friend would like a compliment like "wow you have such a hot body for such an ugly face" hey he still gave her a compliment. Ridiculous and what a jerk! You definitely did the right thing.

TWO WEEK LIQUID PRE SURG DIET ANNOYING!
One of my coworkers didn't follow it at all, she had no issues. But I was too scared not to follow the rules. I am sure it does help if you have fatty liver to reduce the size somewhat and makes less chance that they could hit your liver at all since it may be more in the way. I know it sucks! I hated it but I am sure that it may help eliminate some possible complications and the surgery will just have a better chance to go smoother. However just playing the devils advocate, not all doctors require a preop diet, some just ask for liquids 24 hours prior. I still think you should follow your own docs rules just to be safe. I do doubt they would cancel the surgery if you didn't lose, my coworker lost only 2 lbs, but just to let you know, right now she doesn't follow any plan and eats whatever and has only lost 35 since December. She was never really committed from day one.

Help please i dont know what to do anymore. Does anyone else has this problem?
Just want to say that my daughter suffers from depression/anxiety and meds made her feel worse. She switched to all organic. All the way down to her tooth paste, shampoo, deodorant etc and she is about 90% better than she was. This may not work for everyone but it is worth a try. All the pesticides and hormones effect everyone differently. There was a noticeable difference in 2 weeks.

Anyone feel amazing post op?
I had a great recovery. I only used the meds for 3 nights after I came home. Surgery was on a Wed, released Fri and out shopping Sat. Went back to work after 2 weeks with no problems at all.

Sit ups
Yes, I heard the same thing. You will be tightening the muscle but until most of the fat is gone you will not notice.

3 weeks out eating about 1200 cal/day
I don't count calories or fat, just eat less than 20 carbs most days. But if I add it up I eat about 800-1000 a day. 11 weeks out down 30.

Lean Cuisine/Healthy Choice?
I would say that the Atkins ones are the best option due to high protein and low carb. That is if you are trying to stay low carb.

No weight loss
You more than likely still have a lot of fluid retention from the IV. Dont panic you cant help but lose when you are not even eating. Just make sure to get as much water in as possible, this will help flush everything out. You will start losing really soon.

But I Do Wanna Be A Size 6

Were/are any of you OBSESSED preop?
I was so obsessed! That was all I could think and talk about most of the time. LOL my surgery was only 1 month and 6 days after my 1st office visit with the surgeon, so I really only obsessed for a month and 6 days

My Nut explained we lose in increments kind of like a stair, you lose some and then level off then lose more and level off for a bit. Our body keeps adjusting to the new weight loss. Also here is a link with some useful info. http://www.dsfacts.com/weight-loss-stall-or-plateau.html I also keep my carbs under 20, I have hit a few stalls but I do keep losing inches.

Surgery in 5 days
This is normal, a lot if us felt like this. I had fleeting thoughts of taking out the I.V and running even after I was prepped for surgery LOL. I am so happy though that I did this it was the right decision. I know some people even ask for anti anxiety meds before the surgery, I think you can get something right before or sooner even to calm your nerves. Hang in there

So many questions, please help me!
I have never had the band, but I can tell you with the sleeve you definately dont have the same amount of hunger or cravings (once you get past the head hunger at least) But you do need to make the right choices and really start looking at food as a fuel that your body needs and that is all. I would really suggest counseling before and after if you decide to do this. I dont believe that just by having the surgery all of your food addictions will just dissapear. You still have to work at it, and like I said make the right choices. Sometimes it is really a struggle not to eat that piece of cake at work and indulge in all the goodies. Whatever you decide to do I wish you all the best.

Post op march sleevers
So funny how all docs and nuts say different things. Mine said not to count fat or calorie only carbs (less than 30 a day)and try for at least 90 grams of protein.
