  1. What next!? Cheeseburgers!? LOL - j/k, enjoy!!
  2. I don't see anything especially problematic. I'm not a snack person, but I understand why you need to supplement your regular meals to hit your Protein goals. Do the Jello and Popsicles help toward the protein goal? Just curious as I don't currently use them. My only concern (if I was evaluating this for myself) is that I would get into the habit of snacking all the time and what would happen if I didn't have the healthier/lower caloric options available. Congrats on the 100 lbs loss!!!
  3. I love my strawberry at the bottom "Yopa!" greek yogurt!
  4. This happened to me a week ago Saturday and I spent a little time in the Urgent Care, getting IV pain meds and X-rays. Then an hour or two later - I was back to normal!
  5. Looking great buddy! Keep up the great work
  6. ...besides, no one wants to go to a wedding where the cake is crappy! It was your duty, darn it!
  7. I'm having a cocktail tonight - first one in 3 months - it's planned and will be recorded on myfitnesspal. I think it's great that you reached out, and if being able to stop is problematic, at least you have the insight to take pause. Progress, not perfection - listen to your intuition!
  8. Surgery? What surgery? Oh, sorry... I was distracted after catching a glimpse of myself in the mirror

What is unmanly about having some nice lady rub on you? Hell, I almost feel hetero by the time I leave the nail place! LOL
  10. I had gas pain up until about 3 days post-op. It wasn't really painful, just uncomfortable. I very rarely, if ever, get gas now.
  11. Nate, I started off at 6'1" and 326 lbs on surgery day. I'm 3 months out and am at 266 lbs. You can watch my weekly progress videos here: http://www.youtube.com/user/vsgkirk
  12. Week #13 - 3 Month Surgiversary Video!
  13. I was self-pay and was still required to complete the psych evaluation. I met 1:1 with a therapist and she essentially made sure I didn't have any underlying psychological issues that would impede my success or possibly cause me to hurt myself. She also seemed very interested in the type of support structure I had (family, friends, work). It should never feel like a "test" - it should be an evaluation with a recommendation. You won't be doing yourself any favors by telling them what you think they want to hear. Any good mental health professional will detect this right away. Remember, you are doing this for yourself, and the only person you might hurt is yourself - so honesty and accountability will take you very far in this journey!
  14. Oh crap - poor thing! Your libido is sky-rocketing and I'm taking you to a gay bar Friday night! LOL
  15. You'll do great! Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions/concerns!!!
  16. Good! My partner loves the fact that I have a libido again
  17. I was a hot mess the night before surgery - I think it's part of the process - just chuckle a little to yourself when you catch yourself acting like a character from a Telenovella!
  18. Netflix. Hulu+ and YouTube
  19. I would focus on fluids and rest - I mean, c'mon - day 5 after MAJOR surgery!! The Protein and stuff will come in time Don't make yourself sick with worry.
